Anyone can share best Nicehash optimised settings for v1.6.2?
Mr Optiminer - the long extranonce issues when selling hash at Nicehash -- is that an issue still in v1.6.2?

If you had read the changelog you would have seen that this problem has been fixed with 1.5.0 release: https://github.com/Optiminer/OptiminerZcash#changelog

no speed increase in rx 480 windows 10 64 bit
Use Claymore, it's faster for RX480 on Windows 10 I strongly recommend to use Linux for the RX480.

I strongly recommend to use Linux for the RX480.
May i ask why? Some of the optimizations do not work with the newer windows drivers. And the RX480 do not work with the old windows driver. So, fully speed for the RX480 only on Linux where all optimizations work with the newer amdgpu-pro drivers that support RX480.

Curious to know if the issue when using v1.6 and above in SimpleMining.net having cards show 300 clocks semi randomly and fixed if you move from one miner back to Optiminer is a product the miner software or something in the dashboard interface causing the miscues. Do you happen to know or anyone else here have experience with it Optiminer?

for old R9 290 cards still work better than Claymore 11.1. I work with 1.5 version because for version 1.6.0 and 1.6.1 windows 8.1 and 10 freeze and cant restart. Last version miner work with more sol but often freeze is not offer to change to 1.6.x

Well, Claymore finally released his v12. It's now about equal to what Optiminer has been doing since v1.6 was released, *before* you deduct Claymore's devfee. Although, I think CM's RX speed on Windows may be a bit higher than v1.6, but I don't run Windows or RX GPUs, so I'm not sure of that.

Yeah its pretty much the same after fees. Maybe there is a difference with invalid shares/rejected shares/ressource usage, but stick with what works for you. for example 280x, I get 300 vs 310, 390 I get 385 vs 400.

Can someone explain how the watchdog works ? I am running on Linux. I also have problems with occasional system lock up. Is there a good resource for tips?

You may want to read through the Optiminer thread on forum.z.cash. The subject is discussed (for linux) in decent detail.

Optiminer should be faster. Do not forget that you have to subtract 2.5% for the dev fee on Claymore while optiminer shows hash rates with dev fee subtracted already!
