Don't have the Fear of Missing Out with this coin. It's still Very small with next to no implementation in the Cannabis industry. (And that's a good thing)

This coin is still very small. Development is good, and there are already dispensaries out there starting to use this blockchain for trading funds between merchants because it's easier to deal with than cash, and a lot safer.

But this coin is still so small and has a lot of room to grow. So no fear of missing out. $7 right now. Under $10 is a steal if your in it for the long term. Under $20 if your a stoner in Nevada or Oregon, because in a year or 2. Youll have enough smoke to last you a life time. haha.

This coin is building a platform in which they can trade currency from farmers to dispensaries, to customers. Other coins focus more on the farming aspect, and pot coin is just a pump and dump coin.
If I don't mistaken, they already have a few dispensaries using the platform in Nevada, and Oregon.

It seems that the project is going well, and it will soon be effective, and we should support such a good project.

Good to someone positive. The recent fall in price is because of the general marked, but i did not really see alot of progress or activity on the token (which also explains the mcap).
But good news, when i sell something it usually does very well right after

This coin's development is slow, but my belief that is because less than half their work is coding the token, the rest is making deals, and talking with farmers, dispensaries, and legal associates or something to get past all that. It'll take a while, and it won't hit us all at one time. I see a steady growing market cap on this one.

I get that they wanted to peg tokes to the usd, but if they do something like a 1-1 ratio, and they sell if for about $3 (at the time of this post) than wouldn't you lose money if they peg it to $1?
Forgive me, I don't totally get this pegging thing with the usd.

Why TOKES Platform needs its "Blockchain"? Couldn't you create a platform where you could allow payments with anonymous coins such as Monero for a fee?

Tokes Platform was originally launched on the Waves blockchain following an ICO, following the same model as several other Waves based projects that started up at that time, such as Incent Loyalty, MobileGo and ZrCoin.
All Tokens are created in a single event shortly after ICO concluded.  So a part of the answer would be, that is what the project was built upon initially.  There are some technical advantages to being a Waves token, including very fast transaction time and very low transaction fees.   Plus the Waves  is always working hard on developing futher innovation.   That is something that will certainly benefit Tokes in the future.  Eventually, Tokes will be opening up the functionality of being able to use other cryptocurrencies in their payment systems.  So those bases will also be covered in due time.
