About MC2 - any worries it might collide with the recently relaunched MemoryCoin2?

What do you mean by collide? If it's about the name, MC2 is just a project placeholder for a development name.

Ah, just wanted to point devs attention there is such (albeit less known) coin name.

I hope you guys took notes how not to launch a coin from the whole Maxcoin fiasco.

There's a battlefield full of alt corpses to freely observe and their stories saved on the memorial wall that is Bitcoin Forum > Other > Alternate cryptocurrencies.

The white paper refinements are positive.  Should the project proceed with a smooth, community applauded, "fair" launch, this is one of 2 new cryptos in over a year that I've been considering going long on.

Democracy per head or democracy per coin?

Democracy per coin already has a (somewhat) proven real world method in voting shares for public corporations.

You could use the voting system of MemoryCoin (http://memorycoin.org)
It is Democracy per coin. And it's used to elect officer of this DAC.

No, you don't have to keep it open. Next time you open it up it'll sync and you'll get the messages sent to your BM address. Note that this only applies to the computer that has keys.dat and messages.dat in your PyBitmessage config folder (~/.config/PyBitmessage by default on Linux). It takes a while to sync.

They're circulated around the network for 2 days, and then I have to resend again (but I think that process is automatic)
