All banks currently working under rules and regulations just because of this they have some stick policies in our region still banks are very trust able's because they are doing many services for common peoples and banks are very important part of lives for millions peoples

I guess if the same thing that happened to OP happened to me, I would never trust banks but for now Ill say that I can trust banks. For years I am using bank to store some of my money and nothing goes wrong with it but I don't trust them fully, so I don't put most of my money in the bank, just a percent of it since I know from the start that a scenario of happening that is experienced by OP is possible to happen.

Anyone will obviously, how could we trust anything that take away our funds?
I prefer to be neutral, banks isn't so positive to bring many benefits for me but not negative too that could cause so much loss.
We live in banking system that actually pretty hard to avoid them as salary, money transaction, education expenses and insurance are going through banks services.

It is recommended to deposit or save in government's bank so you have a right to chase them if they scam but I doubt they can do that unless they want to destroy their reputation. I will just use bank if it is badly needed or it is basic or major requirement for a particular purposes like getting your money.

That's the advantage of letting your money to be saved in the bank. You are covered by the law when something happened unexpectedly to their bank, just like insurance and everything as long as that collapse will happen within the banks premises or the cause is the banks negligence. That's why I still trust them because of that.

Badly if you need to go in some countries you have to apply for a visa and the embassy asks you for a bank transactions history.
But they won't ask you for bitcoin transactions , You are "forced" to use bank for every day (or mostly all) transaction in order to have a "rich" history.

Putting your money in banks is not really that safe plus whenever you need to take some of your money you have to either wait in line or pay some fees using ATMs, I rather have my money by my side in a place where I can access them easily rather than having to go to the bank every time I need to get some.

Opening a bank account here doesn't have an actual contract that is just simply application form and you just need to agree with their terms and conditions which is basically you think their contract. Banks are really just for saving your money and yes if you will just let your money sleep in the bank you will grow nothing but your money is secured.

I think there is other option in banks that actually giving you benefits like investment plan.. they are giving investment plan but its just small interest every year.. and i think they are use money for giving loan this is i think the other side of their business.
Banks honestly it gives you secured your money unlike you are just holding a large money that its risky if you put your money in your house to save..

yes that is a fact that banks are more stable and still in stronger position and they also have the support of governments. to me people are still trusting on bitcoin because most of the people who do not know about bitcoin are still using banks for their fiat and other activities.

This is not always so

If the bank has a losing case, no matter how expensive their lawyers might be they could still lose. And I'm talking about that because I witnessed such a case myself when a bank made some stupid move (namely, changed the interest on already opened deposits) and was even more stupid to bring that case to courts. When the courts started to deliver judgments in favor of depositors, the bank was forced to cancel their decision and recalculate the amount due since otherwise they would cause themselves much more serious expenses and penalties

We should never trust system, they care just about themselves. And its western economy to be clear on this, humans are not important, just profit. We can all die today, its not important, as long as they earn billions and billions on our backs.

Actually we still need banks, due to we live in banking system right now and any cryptocurrency can't replace banks yet.
But I just hate 2 of their policies, too much/high fees and % of interest if you borrowing money to banks , you will suffer under your debts like never end.

Yes banks are still inevitable part of our life, and we do not have any other option except to believe on it, as the the bitcoin wallet system is still not so much develop to use It instead of banks, as still majority of people are using fiat and do not know anything about bitcoin hence they will continue using bitcoin but in future we can hope that people will start using online wallet system instead of banks.

Yeah banks can steal your money with the difference they can do it legally, and there is not a lot you can do about it since they are so big and powerful while the average account holder does not have the resources to fight the bank and win.

i guess people shouldn't have to worry about what you said above
if you did not trust banks at least for now , hard for you to choose what else to be trusted?
as bitcoin not yet established , i think there is no harm to believe on them?
