A feature which might be interesting, is an ability to limit the max bet you can make on the site without restricting gambling totally.

You could have a box where the user can enter the max bet they want to be able to make.

You mean some sort of a 'responsible gambling' feature?  Yeah, I think something like that would be good to have on the site, and maybe also something like a self exclusion feature.  It would show that the site itself cares for its users and would also show they're not in the business solely for profit.

That is true and I know that is really good to grow huge amount of jackpot to be won by players but this is too much for wagering here. To be honest, I think this is real hard for some people to wagered that amount just to hit the jackpot. And I think this is just not simply to grow the jackpot here

I like how you see it Joel, the amount of wager required is just right and fair. 
If some would think it's big enough they can still participate but will not get the big jackpot.
It's offered to those who are willing to participate and as a gambler we like a little competition so we have a higher chance of winning.

You only need to play Dice game in order to participate in hunting the jackpot. You need to roll 77.7777, the bigger your bet amount, the bigger percentage of the jackpot you'll win. Check the Help page for further info.

Seems that the rule of the jackpot is still the same as before (based on the Jackpot page). It should be changed as well IMO so it will not mislead players who hunt for the jackpot.

Currently yes. The idea behind this change was to significantly increase the jackpot, say to 30-50 BTC. It was too easy to get one, so we raised the min bet. Now when someone will make a bet of 0.01 BTC and higher he has a real chance to win huge Jackpot. before this change it was EV+ to hunt the Jackpot.

SITE UPDATE 23 June

Today was a bit technical update.

Our Authorization platform was moved from Rails-code to Elixir.

Except the obvious 1000% speed improvements we are now able to move the rest codebase to Elixir. Which will profoundly increase speed, responsiveness, stability. But that's not all. This move allowed us to separate user accounts and secret-seed work from the rest codebase and we expect to join new developers soon who will work on the site without access to sensitive information.

And there's gonna be a real HUGE update soon.

Hello there people of Bitdice.

I was chatting with a virtual friend who happens to play in your site and the other site where I play. In the middle of our usual chat, she said she still have about $50 in her bitdice account but she was not able to log-in since the part of May Edit: April. She was getting the error Unauthorized.  . . yada. . yada. . yada. .

The last time she was able to play there, she had to retrieve her account via her email and was able to play fine. When she logged off and came back to play again. That error shows.

I will tell her to create an account here if that is needed.
