No. Honestly speaking, I find the current price already to be somewhat of a Christmas gift. Right now we have to make sure we will settle above the $750 level that so far has been the point of resistance, where from there we always went down. For now we broke that resistance point, but for how long? I don't think it's enough to reach the $800 levels on western exchanges.

because $1000 is $250 away and that kind of rise in only one month is not possible and it is not even favorable because that kind of rise will be followed by a big dump back to $700. but i think we may see price touching $800 near XMas.

I would be worried if it gets $1k during Christmas.... there will be a huge dump next year if that happens. Stable increase would be much preferable.

And see what this brings to bitcoin economy (2013 bubble),  and those people who should have been a solid supporter of bitcoin now is one of those bitcoin hater/basher.  Anyway, I'm with you that a normal growth of bitcoin is a lot better than a sudden increase in price.
As of the bitcoin price, i think it would not hit 1000USD, probably around 780 uSD - 850 USD at the end of 2016.

the current price $770 and meanwhile raising +230$ for less than a month i have to say that is pretty hard but indeed if everyday the prices increasing step by step maybe that is possible but i don't think will so easy because if the price hit $800 above before Christmas i fear the market will happening panic selling and the price will falling down

everyone certainly expect Christmas day can increase the price of bitcoin up to 1000 USD. but we have to think that the day will also be a lot of people who sell bitcoin. they will need the money for a long holiday.

The 2013 rise was a one-off. People were just discovering bitcoin and MtGox was running it's infamous trading bot to inflate prices. Those days are never coming back, which is a good thing.

I do wish bitcoin can reach 1000$ it will be a perfect christmas gift for all of bitcoin user, but we must think realistic, even it reach 1000$ it will be only a monent because everyone will sell their coin, i prefer slow and steady rising like in this few months

Its very hard to reach up for that at this moment since christmas is approaching and it dont have enough time to stretch for 1000$ and i believe thay the right price for us to see is at 750-800$+ price range and also i've think the 1000$ will be achievable next year if there's no something bad will be happen to cut down the surging of the price at this point.

nah. i'd be extremely surprised if it got anywhere near there and it wouldn't be very healthy if it did. the current progress is strong and steady. that's way better for everyone.

Don't think so to be honest.Sure you should never say never but I don't have that much faith.
More likely we will correct again when reaching a certain point.And if we can consolidate on a solid 750-800 USD level I would be really happy and satisfied.Anything more than that is a nice present which I will gladly accept of course.

It would be great if it'd hit $1000, That will be too quick and i bet many people will sell their btcs if that happen there will be a huge dump err.

i think we have to start to be satisfied with $800 and possibly another jump rope play for bitcoin over this price with another +$20 fluctuation.

i am surprised though to see 770+ price today. because it is mostly out of nowhere for me, there is no news going on that can be associated with this rise.

there wasn't any news for previous rises to late 700s either. there doesn't really have to be and i don't think positive news ever has much immediate effect.

I don't think it will be at $1000 by christmas, I think it will stabilise at around $800 before making the next jump

well, the increase in early december BTC is really impressive. most likely, prices will continue to rise bitcoin indeed, might even reach $ 1,000 by the end of the month. Well, I just hope it really will be stable. but, I'm not sure if BTC at $ 1,000 by Christmas
