Update: bans from modlog in purple.

For a few days my giveaway-thread didn't have much Alt-spam. Today they returned in full force. They don't follow the rules of the giveaway, they cheat by trying to join with many accounts, and they basically just spam the thread.
They usually post in a row, and if you check their post history they do the same in other giveaways. All accounts use all the same giveaways only.
On the last page 6 out of 8 posts are from alt spammers:

On the last page, user: karekas33 (Autoban user: N/A in topic #0 by member #863399) follows exactly the same post pattern, but he did actually do as the giveaway instructs. He could be the Genesis Alt ^{(TM Timelord)}. Going through his post history, I was surprised to see he typed a few real messages. So I entered them into Google, big surprise, it's copy/pasting:

If they copy and paste they will 100% for sure be banned. There's 0 tolerance for that crap. So that's a given, but cheating on a giveaway will just get them negative trust (most likely).

If one can acquire evidence that they are all linked (besides the obvious, which is circumstantial), then yes. I'm inclined to nuke them all, but there isn't adequate evidence to do so. Therefore, I'd advise you to open up a thread in Meta regarding them.

That wallet has 3k+ addresses. I only went through the first page of the wallet tbh. So 35 more pages of wallets for someone to go through (Feel free to help anyone haha ).

I didn't find any alts after the first half of the page or so. There may be more but it would take a long time to find. By the time I got to the bottom of the first page there were 9 transactions in each of the bitcoin addresses.

I'd have to assume there would be more alts. This is just from one wallet. Who's to say they don't use more? I'll dig deeper later. For now I found a pretty decent amount lol.

Idk, judging from the posts he seems to be a faucet lover so it would make sense. Tons and tons of tiny transactions. It doesn't seem to be linked to any business that I can find (but maybe someone else can have a quick looksie ).

Now if it said 300k addresses (which I've seen) then it's obviously a business and I don't bother trying to link anyone to it because it wouldn't mean anything.

That would be good indeed. It's so easy now to copy/paste the same post over and over again while being "on topic" in Games and Rounds.

@Lauda: Can you link/explain the different kinds of bans in the OP? BadBear explains it, but I had to search for it:

Autobans. Isn't what it sounds like, it means someone pressed the ban button, but it's automatically carried out, as opposed to be manually entered. Though there is a mod or two running scripts because of the spammers. This results in the message You were banned by a forum moderator, email xxx. Both global mods and admins use this, so it isn't a guarantee it was a moderator, just more likely. I use autoban instead of manual bans for permanent bans because it's faster and more efficient. All bans in the modlog are autobans, and permanent.

Update to my last find. I was going through each account's trust and Timelord2067 already tagged sorlunjo.

They're all alts of the (in?)famous Engg.Chaks. That obviously warrants a negative in my books.
