Play with your profit or not?

When you guys are gambling and already doubled your bankroll, do you still play with the whole money you got or you take away half of your bankroll and start playing with your profit or not?

In my case, if I have already double my bankroll I will still play: however, I will keep my bankroll and the half of my winnings on my wallet and then the remaining profit I get will be played again so that even if I lose I still have my winnings.

You are right; if you will not play with your profit then you cannot earn more profit. But in gambling world, most of the time gambler ends up losing everything if they keep on striking again and again. Isn't better to invest that profit in some more reliable and working method like trading or buying a share in some business etc ?

People play with their profits only if they want to double it but unluckily, they end up losing all and are left with empty hands. This is only a luck based game and it does not give you good results most of the time. Hence, if you have really made some amount then it is advisable for you to invest it in some other work.

People do understand that but the problem is for an addicted gambler it is tough to understand which one is true - some touts who tend to teach them some strategies (which will obviously fail) said to bring them huge profits or people like us telling them that gambling should not be a mode of earning but a mode of having some fun. Obviously the mind falls trap of the greed and the false things are accepted first before the hard truth is accepted.

I think youre wrong, some addicted gambler can stop when they already got a profit. in fact the real problem for the gambler still keep playing even though already take a profit it's because they have greedy nature, actually easy to finished it. you just need to have a target of profit, surely you can stop after you reached the target.

Play only the money you can afford to lose. It was always better to invest your profit, for gambling was not good for you. Just invest for the long run. You will have the last laugh. 😁

Good thing to know it. But im not kind of person i ussualy invest in short terms and always wanted to play gambling .Gambling is good for me because i can get out to my problems and to have fun playing gambling at the moment.

Basically indeed if we could use gambling then it will certainly get enjoyment in it. Because gambling appears to give a lot of pleasure to its users, but the things that give bad impact occurs. Because they use gambling in a manner that is not right or true, so what they are supposed to get is never seen. Fix the way we play, especially on the patience and also on analysis, because only then can we beat gambling

as simple as like that , when you think you can afford to lost it , there is no harm to play with the profit. but how if you can not really afford it but force yourself to cross that limit? i think it could be a serious issue later , better to play safe.

If you are suggesting setting a target in gambling, obviously it won't be a hundred bucks or so. Gamblers would set a big one, if they are profit seekers. You cannot also assure anyone that how much time he would take to accomplish his target.
May be, it would take a long period and obviously the person would become an addict by the end. Your idea is full of flaws.

when I double my bankroll I only play with my winning amount. if I loss the winning then go to original amount.

Even if the gain is increasing according to the amount of money you put in the house edge is still there and you can get unlucky at any point of time and end up going broke. That said you may be able to exploit this and win big as well. But that needs luck and we all lack some good luck. If you are feeling adventurous then you may try it but playing with profit is something I personally dont like.

I generally don't make any withdrawal from a gambling site. As, I end up everything I've deposited and won losing on some other bets.

I always do this. If I made a profit with my deposit I only play with the profit. This the way I like to play most of the time.
By doing this I know I am not going to lose a lot of money because I only make one deposit each time I play.

Yes this is an excellent strategy but the drawback of this strategy that I personally always feel is that first of all getting any profit with your main bankroll is difficult and then once you get it you feel like you own that money, no matter if you won it.

So, when you loose that profit amount you will deposit back the original bankroll again and this continues unless you win too big with your profits or you loose all ( the latter has better chances )

Yeah that's one thing , one other thing , some website don't let you withdraw money if your gains are still less than your original deposit , so you'll be stuck until you'll win a bigger amount , for ex : You deposit 10$ , win 9$ , total 19$ , you want to withdraw 10$ -> they don't let you .
Other websites have a minimum cap for withdrawing set on 30/40$ .. So you'll be obliged to play with your deposit and profit ..
Moral of the story : choose well your bookies .

That's how gambler goes, when they become desperate on doing activities alot in gambling. If only they can realize that it was really fun to play gambling but there should be some bars to put too. Having plans and not following it will be nonsense. Play with your winnings when you already withdrae the profit. Atleast you enjoy even the winning amount lose. Still seems nothing lose.

Well in case you did double your money in the first place then it is your money and you can actually make a profit by withdrawing it and by not being greedy. I dont understand how it is not your money - in case you doubled a tip that you have received from someone then of course it is not your money - even then I think playing with profit is totally your own discretion. I prefer to withdraw when I reach a certain goal.

I think its too good to be true if you are always winning because there is no such gambling game that will let you win always it is hard to beelieve unless there's a certain trick or you are good in playing ev+ games.

I think it's safer to play with just your profit, so that after the game, you will not lose any money. Once I double my money, I usually stop playing to secure my winnings. Gambling is risky, so I think, once you got lucky you should stop playing.

Easy said than done , maybe now you can say that but practically i don't think so.
Everyone think when you gamble with your profit will get a winning frequently as you gamble nothing to lose.
But for me it is just make things worse , as you will lost sooner or later and trying to recover lost then.

but what will be done if we experience a loss with the profit? maybe we will deposit back with our capital. I tend to prefer to play with capital and profit. so no balance is saved when you win

I do the same thing because even though I lost it won't bother me much. Gambling is very risky to play so it is always good to gamble with profit if you gamble with all the money if you loose it will be a big disaster for us.
