Bitcoin is an anonymous currency and I dont think theirs any law about supporting it in countries
Bitcoin can be used worldwide almost by anyone who knows to get around with it.

Those countries are just scared on what will be the possible result if they are going to let bitcoin as a method of payment to them. Because it is uncontrollable and they don't have powers to make movement on it's value. If they will going to let it enter their economy, it's either their economy will be manipulated by a single whale.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I do agree with you. The government will never accept these kinds of currency because the people will become 90% anonymous and they can never collect tax from the citizens. Moreover, bad people can use Bitcoin for illegal activities
Those countries are just scared on what will be the possible result if they are going to let bitcoin as a method of payment to them. Because it is uncontrollable and they don't have powers to make movement on it's value. If they will going to let it enter their economy, it's either their economy will be manipulated by a single whale.

Bitcoin is getting out from anonymity very fast and couple countries already have some laws about bitcoin. Bitcoin is traceable and we can`t hide so much, government can find a way to control us, for more anonymity there is some other coins, and that is what I read around the forum, which coin provide most anonymity monero, or zcash.
Bitcoin is not supported by those who do not accept technology and future, that will change with time, new generations are coming that knows much more then old conservative people.

Why do you think that anonymousness of the bitcoin is also a roadblock for its path?
I dont see any way in how could something like that be harmful for the idea that the goverments will adopt bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. If there are so many people using it, then why should it be made illegal?
Another important thing is that bitcoin gives a lot of different opportunities for normal people, plus it is a way to pay our bills, buy goods etc. without using banking system, just simple peer-to-peer payments.

Why do we need to use some bank services, If there is a possibility to speed up the things a lot? I dont see any point, unless the transactions will get confirmed in such a long time like we have right now.

No one will promote Bitcoin except the users themselves, because a simple person does not need it at all. All people are happy with the fact that they can use bank services with credit cards and real money. They would be very outraged If they were forced to do something on the Internet using Bitcoin.

Some countries want to have full control of the economy, they don't want some other currency that they cannot control.
If we look at this wikipedia article, we can see that for example Bangladesh has made Bitcoin strictly illegal because of the country's strict anti-money laundering laws.

Bitcoin is bitcoin and this is already backed up by too many investors and users, although if XMR and Zcash are being considered as that anonymous. Then people will still remain to bitcoin as it is the one that has enough investors, we know that many people are loving the way it is being used for investment and currency and for other countries, they really don't like that because of those said factors.

Like Russia who banned Bitcoin due to its qualities which they can't monitor or seems like it is outside of their reach but now they take a U-turn with their standing regarding Bitcoin and to other cryptocurrencies which they see a potential in it that can help and benefit them. Japan also have recognized and legalizing the use of Bitcoin. The point on this is that it is possible for other countries to accept Bitcoin and might as well see the potentials it has and use it rather than waste it.

Every country has a law and has regulations to be followed.Maybe the one who is leading a country that banned or give punishment if people uses bitcoins dont like or see bitcoins as a threat to his country.
Maybe the leader himself is not open to changes or open to innovations because Bitcoin has changed the way transaction works and how it possibly can change how we transfer money from one place to another.

This can be true and this is quite expected. We should not expect everybody to embrace new changes especially when it comes to financial infrastructures like what Bitcoin in particular or cryptocurrency in general can be bringing on the table. Change can take some time. As they say, Rome was definitely not built in a day.

One big reason why there are those who resist and oppose Bitcoin is because this is not issued by any power and is not really backed by any tangible assets like gold or any metal for that matter. Bitcoin is representing a new paradigm which has no role model in the past. Partly, using this view, one can say that Bitcoin has its own risks embedded in itself.

In the coming years, we can witness how Bitcoin can go mainstream and be really adopted on a global scale. However, as in the study of human nature, we are not also sure if there would be an intervening event along the way that can change the trajectory of the Bitcoin growth...people can only analyze and even predict but the actual events can be beyond our own hands.

Not the thing of being risky its the thing that unders leglity issues that stopping other country to use bitcoin and totally banned and whipe it out of their country. Some thinks that this may lead to huge terrorism due to anonymous transactions

Most of this case is either lack of knowledge about bitcoin or paranoia.  We all know any thing can be used to support terrorist, even a minerals can be used to support it, so they should not blame Bitcoin and not support it due to the reason that it can be used to support terrorist activities, if that so then why not ban fiat money  since they too are being used to support this activity of terrorism.

Very right.
Before they have used gold or diamonds as a means of trade for weapons and other military stuffs.
They just want to blame it into bitcoin just because it is not traceable but it is all wrong.
Just like you said it is the fiat money which is more used for this transaction specially USD which is the famous for every country.
They all want that dollar.

Bitcoin is still relatively unknown in most parts of the world. Even in urban areas, you wouldn't really hear much news about it, much more on far flung areas where internet connectivity is an issue. There was a time when only bad news about bitcoin would be broadcast by mainstream media so the stigma is there. But things are definitely improving with more people getting interested with bitcoin because of the recent performance.

I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
It seems that you are India ( and me also) , here you listen about the prison for the 6 months for the use of the bitcoin is true , better Example for this is Bangladesh , where use of bitcoin is illegal and if anyone find in the bitcoin moments then he will go in prison .
But here I think these are really bad thing to restrict the people to use bitcoin Because this is open in the internet and no risk at all to use and full safe , here in our country India we can use bitcoin without any restriction but officially bitcoin is not legal in India that is pretty good but soon a law will be made by the India to use bitcoin in legal ways .

There are many reasons why some countries in the world still do not agree to use bitcoin as a legal digital currency, such as in my country:
1. The government cannot impose taxes and will not be able to manage the currency, making it difficult to develop their country's infrastructure.
2. It can be as easy as money laundering, illegal trade, ex: UG, drug trafficking, weapons and very hard to detect the address of the crime.
3. The exchange is difficult when the exchange rate fluctuates, there may be loss of money between the two parties, causing many cases of scam ...
These are just a few of my ideas, but above all it is a tax problem and cannot handle Bitcoin Smiley. Currently, my country does not support bitcoin, but still does not forbid people to use bitcoin in the exchange. Not have rule Grin

because bitcoin is decentralise and bitcoin can be a tool in doing illegal activities. and there are still so many fators why they do not recognize bitcoin. i just point some of it.

Many countries are still cautious to include bitcoins to their financial system. Bitcoin is a digital currency that is easy to experience the price movement in an extream. This is the risk that the government wants to avoid.
That's right! and in addition to that some's also are afraid to adopt bitcoin or for them its a threat. But just like what you said bitcoin is a digital/virtual currency that can only be use as payment online.

Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me

because bitcoin is decentralise and bitcoin can be a tool in doing illegal activities. and there are still so many fators why they do not recognize bitcoin. i just point some of it.

This discussion about bitcoin being used in illegal activities will never end. And it's very unfair to say that with bitcoin because even our fiat money or local currency are being used to fund for different illegal transactions. I had to agree with the decentralization and it is the one that what the creator/s of bitcoin want to implement.

Even fiat who are centralized we can see it is being used for illegal activities also, if you compared it with bitcoin it is still fiat that is widely use for illegal activities. The money laundering was created to combat this kind of activity and it was imposed with banks to monitor cash it and cash out that are not justifiable or questionable, so that fact alone would prove that fiat are more used in illegal activities.

The fact is, fiat are the first money that is introduced to the public while bitcoin is just back in 2009 and that is why fiat is more like prone or being used in illegal activities because it was first but if the criminals will discover bitcoin then they will use it and not the fiat because bitcoin is anonymous and it will be their big advantage to the underground people.
