I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
Actually each country have their own policy maybe the government are concerned will many wiping the money or commonly known as money laundering. fair or not that's what we have to face because until now the existence of bitcoin is still not recognized.
yes thats right, government are responsible to their countrymen and their countrymen must obey the policy.no government that would allow something like crypto to make mistakes using crypto wrongly so its better to prevent it from the start .

I don't agree with this kind of opinion, giving a strict rule on cryptocurrency doesn't seem like preventing anything it's even the worst way to do it.
Don't you know that Bitcoin is actually similar with the Internet, both do change the way we do things as the Internet changes the way we give information so does Bitcoin change the way we send money. So as you can see, the Internet goes well without any prohibition from the government. And when they really do prohibit the use of it things get really messy.
The point is, both these things are really powerful. So instead of prohibiting the people to use it why don't they (the government) make another rule which has to makes more sense to educate their people to get ready for using these things.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Perhaps some conservative nations believe that accrediting btc will increase the level of crime, they do not trust the security of btc. And with the idea of recognizing btc, it will affect the country's finances and especially the currency price, without thinking that btc will diversify its way of doing business in the cooperative economy.

I Think they don't support bitcoin because they believe that bitcoin can't be controlled or taxed and also they believe that bitcoin could be used for illegal actions that would increase crime rate

Some countries do not recognize bitcoins as currency, because they do not have the rules for this. Perhaps they lack new opportunities to improve the financial system. They are already satisfied with what they have now, or think that their economy will be destroyed.

Maybe some countries that do not support bitcoin because they do not have good internet connection, still illegal activity, create new type of criminality activities, etc. Those negative activities  make the government think hard to support bitcoin or not. But bitcoin still remain strong because many countries already to support it.

this is a very worthwhile thing...as they say - If you can't beat them, lead them...this would be the best option in the current situation

Some countries do not know bitcoin. Especially the government itself. What they knew is that many people in their country earn from it without paying tax, with these, possibly on their own side and perspective, this will have an effect of abnormalities in the economy and will form part to underground economy.

bitcoin is not supported in some countries, aside for one line transaction and your money will be lost, some countries are not supported bitcoin because they are accusing that this bitcoin is a cause of money laundering and they can't get tax of it.
The most basic reason behind all this is that the government of those countries is not willing to accept bitcoin and that is why they are banning the usage of bitcoin in their countries. It is just a matter of time and thing will be resolves in the next coming days as there is nothing more beneficial than that of bitcoin in the present world. Bitcoin will keep on making better reputation in the future.

Governments and banks were always connected to each other. They are both afraid of losing control of money. No wonder why. Governments would be no longer able to print additional money whenever they wanted. Bitcoins allows you to store your money on your own, that's one of the most important bank features. I don't want to use them anymore because I don't need to.

First, because people in those countries do not trust bitcoin
Secondly, the government in that country has rules governing that bitcoin is not a legal means of transactions in the country
Third, the rise of cybercrime actions that exploit the existence of bitcoin

Government is always an enemy of cyber crimes and they are imposing lots of laws against cyber crime offender, Bitcoin can be easily subjected people into scams/fraud. Other than that bitcoin is decentralized and no one can manage how it can be on the market we all know that government always want to secure ways on managing our currency. They dont see bitcoin as a legal tender and their fiat money is more like natural treasure to them that's why they are afraid that bitcoin can replace fiat .

The government think's that bitcoin is insecure for their country's economy and may be bitcoin could make the situation worst. So they might have banned bitcoin or it is anonymous and easy to launder money so this thinking might make them to ban bitcoin.

Bitcoin's anonymity is so big seal on other governments. Bitccoins high value with a anonymity is bad thing for them. You can transfer a big value of money in just a few clicks. Well, That's their thinking. We cannot judge them because they are governing us. Other governments banned bitcoin because Bitcoin will able to destroy banks that will result to crashed. Because there are lot of storing applications that you can put all your money using your digital and electronic devices. And yes, i agree to you, bitcoin have the ability that it is easy to launder money for its anonymous.

one of the reasons why bitcoin is not supported in some countries is most likely because their state-owned banks feel uncomfortable with bitcoin, because bitcoin is made up of investment fields for its investors and does not save its money in banks, avoiding the occurrence of money laundering because of the bitcoin anonymous

The governments of these countries are simply afraid of Bitcoin and not without reason. They may cook up whatever excuses like Bitcoin being used for criminal activities such as money laundering and terrorism financing (as if cash weren't used for that as well, and likely with even better results), but the harsh truth is that Bitcoin competes with their local currencies and may eventually outcompete them. It is like the US dollar which everybody loves but which the governments can still more or less control through foreign currency exchange operations carried out by banks (apart from cash transactions, but these are small overall).

The prohibition is made to prevent illegal practices that exploit digital currencies, such as money laundering or terrorism financing, as well as maintaining the country's currency sovereignty as the only official means of payment in the country
