Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

This reminds me... I made a backup of my wallet a few days ago, but when I needed it I had already forgotten the PW for the flash-drive, after some digging around I found a recovery key in an encrypted zip on my encrypted partition. In short I've finally restored my wallet. Note: Some people forget really important things, I'm one of them.

I find it simpler to just regularly send my bitcoins to my mtgox account. I've got a yubikey which makes it more secure.
