What is the main problem?

Wallet restore. its a qt wallet last i checked. all of them (so far that i have) work the same. make a backup of the wallet.dat in the install directory... put it onto a usbkey (or other device...NOT touching the internet etc) My method: Folder name: Ecoin Mooncoin Bitcoin (anycoin) Under each folder name: (MooncoinFolder) change name of wallet.dat to (for example) walletbackup10182018.dat i keep 3 copies (each one in a different place) ie: usb key in car, harddrive at work , and a hd hidden at home. Course, atm i have mooncoin on paperwallets, since 10 but similar backup for those as well.  |

Sincerely, CoinExchange.io Support Team” thnx for the reply . can you describe in depth what the problem is ? because reading WE ARE WORKING ON A SOLUTION aint too much info for a few weeks again. There a development people here right? shouldn't they be able to provide an more in depth answer about the existing problem? Dont get why its so hard if there is an problem of any kind some inside people know how and what the situation is? |

Minor minor info of coincap Hi, Coinexchange was running an older wallet build that didn't contain the transaction code fixes. So there wallet was getting hung on unconfirmed transactions. They are in the process of updating to build b257fcd. Once the upgrade is completed we should be out of maintenance again. This should happen relatively soon. So everyone should take note of this because it seems there are old builds floating around. You should be running not just .13.9.0 but build b257fcd as well. You can find this information in the mooncoin-cli -version output or any of the other binary's version output. So check you version and update today. Regards, |

Reading correctly the whole problem with coinexchange off being inactive is that the've had an older wallet version?
Well okay okee its an answer that is satisfying to an extent.
(Still gotten a list of questions)
Hope after this annoying occurrence future Problems can be adressed sooner
(and in better senario don't happen at all)
