Sell or wait?

my take is to wait. $1k appear again in a month.... this is very positive... it might go higher in few more months

The price hasn’t quite stabilized at the levels we are presently at and I think there will still be a drop before another attempt at higher prices. With that said, I am willing to sell some at current prices and just buy back if and when there is a significant pullback in the next few weeks.

Just hold your bitcoins and see what happens.Dont follow the footsteps of panic sellers who sold their btc last january.Many thought that bitcoin price would fall to $500 last time.But btc has recovered due to steady increase in trading volume.Even chinese bitcoiners sold out their bitcoins believing rumours that bitcoin will be banned.Bitcoin worth is much more than its present price.Better hold it instead of regretting after selling.

Well i cannot tell to hold nor to sell but what i would suggest you is to listen to your feelings, if you need a quick money for now well much better than to sell and used the money for good but if you can afford to hold and wait well this will suits you but remember theirs a.big danger for waiting for more longer since the flactuation is not truly trustable to left with since anything will be happen unto it when we are asleep.

Because when your trading actions are based just on your feelings and not on your knowledge, you can be sure you will hit the panic button in the very wrong moment and you will loose a lot of money. If you can't afford to hold the money in bitcoin as an investment, you rather shouldn't put them into that. And if you are affraid that something will happen with your investment "when you are asleep", you probably shouldn't invest at all.

Just browse through the forum and see how many people complain about the price going down when they buy, and the price that goes up when they sell. It's typical rookie behavior where they let their feelings guide themselves.

It is actually a very good comparsion with gambling, which is also based only on a players feelings and mostly on luck. And we know, that if your investments depend only on luck, in long term it is never profitable. The thing, why so many people make their decission based on feelings, is because many of them are driven by greed and they want a quick money without hard work (analyzing the market).

If you are not comfortable with trading price swings, I would simply hold the coins and wait it out.

You will stop getting the feeling that you missed out on trading opportunities eventually, which will make it easier.

As long as you are watching the charts you will have that feeling. The first step is to move money out of the exchanges, to break your daily trading routine. Then stop watching the charts and monitoring the price every day, because you will still feel the need to trade and feel regrets. Not yet, there no sign that the price will go down, we could still rip some profits with the current movement. Just don't be tired paying attention, we can certainly predict the right movement, my suggestion is only sell when the price will start to fall and I mean a heavy fall.

$1100 isn't too strong a resistance not to be broken, and the next halving isn't coming until 2020, so I think $1100 is very much within target to be hit even before the year ends. There will be pullbacks for sure but the price has proven that it can become stronger after short periods of dips.

If you are in a plan to make the sell after $1000 then it looks like the right time. Now it has crossed $1020 and nothing gives an assurance so to benefit more and more. Based upon the unpredictable nature of bitcoin as well other digital currency anytime price could fall or increase. Better is to make the best move to hold the profit.

Right now it does not seem like the right time to sell your bitcoin since the price does not seem to be moving that much I will prefer to wait for a greater price increase before considering selling my bitcoin since I think the price is bound to grow a lot more in the future.

see the bitcoin prices rise so fast, maybe it does not hurt to hope that the price of bitcoin will be $ 1,100 or even more. we just need to set it all, and do what we need to do when it happens. because of the variety of existing information, bitcoin prices will probably reach high prices this year.

I guess you are making the right decision, it started to pump again, we will surely gonna see another good value in the next few days if this will continue. Be patient for more profit, there is nothing we can lose at this moment as the price has gone up so much, just sell at the right timing.

I think its best time make a profit by selling out our bitcoins because price is volatile for bitcoin always. We do not know when the next price dips is gonna happen. Today value also some what around 1050$. So I  am saying this is a best time to sell it out.
