Sell or wait?

the price of bitcoin is currently experiencing an increase. I think doing the sell is a wise action. we can get a sizeable profit. then wait again until bitcoin prices up and down. and make a profit again.

The price is experiencing increase and it will increase more with the passage of time so it is not better to sel now but wait for more longer and you will see that in the coming days you will get a best chance to earn with price rise.

Yes and this is surely not the best time to sell bitcoins as price is rising at a moment and it is expected that price will go higher at the end of the month so if you manage to hold your coins till that time then it can give you higher profits so its better to wait for some more days and see where the price lands in coming days and take decisions accordingly.

Due to our patience, it will reward us in the right time, selling now is not a good practice if you still have something in your wallet to use for your expenses. Let the price rise for more and then just sell if the decision this coming march 11 about the ETF is negative as I'm sure there will be a massive dump that will happen.

Better to sell before they announce the etf and especially if the announcement is negative because I want to buy your bitcoins cheaply. 

Just sell in near of 11 march. I guess the bitcoin price will reach the top and i hope 11 march the bad news will be coming and i can buy back the cheap bitcoin. in my opinion it will become the big candle after 11 march. red or green there is no definite answer about that.

All can happen, we are not talking about one but three companies wanting to take Bitcoin to next level. ETF  ( decision around 11th of March ) , SolidX (desicion around 17th of march ) and Barry Silbert Investment trust has applied as well .

So iam Sure SEC is going to look into this with new eyes and  one if not all can be approved, sure  maybe not this year but  in very near future. So if you do not need money then sit on your bitcoins at least for 6month to a year.

If there is no approval, the price might drop. But it will rise in the long term.

Well that's correct its better to hold our coins for next couple of days and see whether ETF gets approval or not and if its get approved then we can expect much higher price of bitcoins so if we sell them now and if price touches $1500 in coming days then it would be the wrong decision to make so its better to wait and see where price goes and then take decision of selling them.

It's good to speculate for the approval as I feel there is more surprises that is going to happen, never think of the negative things as bitcoin is stronger now because of us. Selling nowadays is sing of luck of trust of bitcoin, let's believe and keep this moment our chance to maximize our profit.
Honestly, although I do not have a big amount of bitcoin but I'm saving it because I believe it will grow in a short period of time.

I am always contented for what is price now because my first encounter the value was around $200 on april 2016 so I am really grateful that I am still part of bitcoin community and will be part in the long run. I always sell my coin monthly because I needed I don't need to wait but I am happy seeing the price really high.

If you need money then you can sell your coins and there is nothing wrong it but I would like to suggest you that try to save even a small amount of bitcoin on monthly basis and try to manage your expenses from the rest as even small amount saved will be more valuable in future as we may see some unexpected price of bitcoins in coming years.

I agree with this. If you don't need money now for something important keep holding! Bitcoin is on the rise and I expect it will continue no matter what happens with ETF. Id didn't take much for the price to reach $1000 and it won't need a large event to reach 1500, we will get there eventually. The higher the price the more people get interested and now, when we reached the price of gold all eyes are on Bitcoin.

I agree with this. If you don't need money now for something important keep holding! Bitcoin is on the rise and I expect it will continue no matter what happens with ETF. Id didn't take much for the price to reach $1000 and it won't need a large event to reach 1500, we will get there eventually. Even if ETF doesn't gets approval there will be no massive decline in the price of bitcoins and even if it falls it won't go below $1000 so its an individual's call whether to sell at a moment or hold till the next week and if approval is done then price can go much higher and that would be good time to sell bitcoins.

you're right, maybe it would be a very bad practice to sell at this time, because bitcoin prices still continue to rise. but, if you're so desperate for money, I think it would not hurt to sell bitcoin for now, because it can be said that today, the price of bitcoin have reached prices so high from the previous year.

Saying the truth it's not a bad time to sell a small part of bitcoins now as the price is just perfect comparing with the price last year or last 2 years.

Those who have invested or earned through this period then it is a good time to sell them otherwise holding for a longer time is not a bad idea too.

Personally I have decided to wait and hold for a longer time as bitcoin has taken much attention in public and I hope the price can be much higher than now.

For now it is really hard to decide to sell or wait.. because the price of bitcoin is high and they are keep increasing so if we sell bitcoin right now will will lose opportunity to get more profit if the price keep increasing so better to set a 3 tier which is for your margin set up and normal trading and set a margin that everytime the price increase you will sel bitcoin.. so that you dont lose opportunity to make profit..

It's not hard to sell. If you have made some decent profits, then it's smart to cash out a small percentage of your profits. If you do that, then you won't be regretting you not having sold at the time the price goes down. If the price goes down after you sold, then you can buy back your coins. If the price goes up further, then you can benefit by cashing out another bit of your profits. That way you never miss out.

No i agree what i normally used to do is when their is a high growth i convert it to some altcoin and buy more bitcoin when the price is low again but as for this situation i have seen many analyst and people saying that we shouldn't sell it now and wait. I do agree with them because if you see the growth in price is really stable so if i see tomorrow the price of bitcoin became something like 1500$ i will surely sell for now i mostly see growth in the price.

We shouldn't be dependent on that since we might not recover our loss on that trade. As bitcoin continue rising up then you sell your btf for altcoins, certainly you'll end up with lose. Hence, if thou must use bitcoin, I suggest you to hold it until you're satusfied enough to sell it.

man i am getting nervous, just bought in the dip like a boss. But what if the chinese exchanges open again and dump their coins on the market, and ETF will cause a dump i will get rekt like a noob. What to do ?
