For me I just save some bitcoin and wait for a long term investments. When I already earn I just sell bitcoin and some are for savings. Because I know it will pump its prices in the long run.

From the beginning it goes up and down. So at some point the price  has grown high rather than going down which gives the assurance of profiting the one who holds with patience.

Patience is a virtue to make profits in bitcoins and if you don't have patience then you will never make profits from it and I think at this stage waiting is the right choice to make as price can go even higher in coming months so that would be the right time to sell bitcoins.

However, I guess it doesn't make sense when people keep holding money forever and never come to the time when they can finally spend the money. The nature of money is that it has to be used, not holded. This is the main reason why we are working to have money to all our daily needs and monthly bills.  It would be absurd to keep bitcoin and not pay with our bills or not sell when we really need the money, as if keeping Bitcoin will keep us alive in our present situation.  So I guess it is ok to sell Bitcoin if the situation need it and keep or wait if there is no need to sell your saved Bitcoin.
