Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it?

Bitcoin is money. Ask yourself, is it worth spending time collecting money? Of course it is. As a matter of fact, it's even worth it to collect bitcoin instead of fiat since bitcoin can give you profit by just holding it. If I were rich on fiat and I discovered bitcoin, I surely will convert all of my fiat to bitcoins after knowing all these stuffs going on behind the fiat system and after understanding how bitcoin works.

I can not emphasize enough how lucky we are for being the first million users of this forum. In the future, when bitcoin goes mainstream, the bitcoin that we have right now will be an insane large amount of money.

Exactly. bitcoin is money. This is not like you are collecting stamps or something. If you earn or buy bitcoins and don't spend it than this is like saving and investing. And with time your "collection" of bitcoins will only get biger and more worth, so yes, it's profitable and you can have great use of it.

What do you mean by collect? I would recommend for you daily job and then from money you earn, buy bitcoin.
Collecting from faucets or any other means are far far far less efficent than actually working and buying bitcoin from your payroll.

I take the word collecting as a form of holding bitcoin. Because in bitcoin one should also have a way of wallet for them to hold their bitcoin I'm a simple ways. To be a successful trading or even an bitcoin investor one should always take in mind that in bitcoin one should always do their part to make it more developed and more aligned on transaction. To be exact it is more okay to do transaction through bitcoin.

Even rocks are worth collecting. The more bitcoins that you have, the more money you can get from it when you sell them. What I really like about collecting bitcoins is that as the time pass while you're collecting more and more bitcoins, you're also holding them.

Most people spend their time binge-watching stuffs on the Internet. Might as well do something better than that and earn bitcoins. It's good to have some pocket money.

The same as I feel with earning real money, I also think that bitcoin is worth spending time with while earning. It helps you in multiple ways, you are able to earn and at the same time you can also explore. The fact that it is enormously growing as time pass by simply means that bitcoin might get economical someday. You may regret not earning it.

Of course it is highly recommended that someone can take the time to look for bitcoin but not leave their daily work, by filling their spare time would be very useful if used to find and collect bitcoin because bitcoin is now a currency that can be used as an alternative way of transacting.

yeah i remember someone who has collected up to 2 bitcoin when faucet sites offers huge amount in bitcoin. some people collect bitcoin a lot even from just a dust but as time goes by if you tenacious, diligent and patient which it is rare  your time that has been spent for a couple months to collect bitcoin could be a little fair worth. 2 bitcoin with current rates around $5,000  . think about it.

That time the value of bitcoin is too low, so people thought collecting bitcoin is not worth, and I don't know how many people are sold coins when the price crossed $500. But now they realise that they made a big mistake with selling Bitcoin for just $500. But I will say that time what they did it's right because who knows the price will increase like this. Suppose if it goes down what they do. Now we have one clear idea about bitcoin, so we will wait for years to make a big profit.

If that's what you mean by collect, then of course it's worth the time. But to be able to buy bitcoin, you have to earn money in the first place and that's when your daily job show it'a benefit. Collecting is good for long term but you'll need daily job to sustain your life.

   Well for me bitcoin is worth the time to collect because as I can see now looking at the market price of bitcoin it has increase over time especially in our generation today we have all the possibilities and our technology is being improve everyday. I do collect bitcoin via campaigns and faucets and mining but it doesn't mean that its better than having a daily job. Yes, some people has made income on bitcoin because of their specialty or skills that they have. They maybe a programmer or graphic designer but for some people who work on trades or people who are not tech related jobs of course their job is better than this because that's their specialty. I think bitcoin has the way of our generation to improve when the time comes sooner or later bitcoin will be a way of our payment. Yes I do think that many people has also lose their investments due to the market price and etcc. rather than benefit them from spending it but that's also the risks of investing its just the same as money now but in the future it will be bitcoin.

yes you right! more and more people now are collecting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because of its pumping value and they hold it for a while or they just forget it for a long time, just what the 12 years old boy do that he became a millionaire of bitcoin at age of 18.

I think if you want to 'collect' you need a method to do the collecting. Having a day job which allows you some money to buy bitcoin works well, you can then capitalise on the hopefully rising bitcoin price

Of course it's worth spending time collecting Bitcoin but it doesn't mean that it's better than having a daily job. Until Bitcoin is a sure thing, a stable and continuous source of income, one should not wholly depend on it. One can still be keen on their daily jobs and can collect Bitcoins on the same time. Learn to multitask! And of course investments has its risks. Its not always a win, its not always a profit. Bitcoin is a volatile market, I think its expected that you have a few bumps down the market road.

Yes i think it is worth it, i am breaking out my *ss to earn a lot of bitcoin at the moment. Currently i am working on signature campaing, i am growing facebook/twitter pages, i am making web designs and develop them. Also i have a real job, and all i do is for buying more bitcoin or altcoins.
So yes, i can say that i am putting all my effort on growing my btc value, and i think it is worth it, because it will give profits for all of us in a near future

I agree and would like to ask the op same question but as it's already been asked I would only like to add that of course it's worth spending time collecting bitcoin because it proved it's worth already and that's why bitcoin is so valuable these days, it's more than 4k USD and op still doubts it's worth that's ridiculous. Nobody asks anybody to quit their job and buying bitcoins doesn't even need you do that, stick to whatever job or business you been engaged with and buy bitcoins as an investment and it's an investment which will surely bring you good profits.

Ultimately we pick up a regular job, just so we can get paid and when we spend time collecting Bitcoin, the aim is also
 to make money, albeit relatively convenient. Now nothing says that one cannot enjoy the best of both worlds though it is sure going to be entailing, but the end looks real good to justify the means.
