There are many, many reasons why people don't get Bitcoin or don't believe in bitcoin.
i think that people don't know about bitcoin because there is a few place that introduce bitcoin into public and people still thinking that bitcoin is just a part of internet and maybe they don't know that bitcoin can be a way for them to make money.

It's very hard to say.

The main reason why bitcoin is not known to the public is that bitcoin is not promoted in mass media. Bitcoin is promoted on social media but have not yet reach everybody. We need more promotion since a large portion of every countrys population especially the third world countries have no access to internet and they have no knowledge on how to use the digital technology due to poverty.

You are very correct with your conclusion that people have several excuses for not using bitcoin and I will say mine from over here and I will ascribe it to the following reasons

1. The exposure is still quite low as people really dont know that there is a digital currency called bitcoin and to the few who have heard about it dont really have the mind to go into it.

2. The bad name in which others using the bitcoin have named it, for example those hYIps that have used it to scam people so in some people mind, anything relating to internet money is scam

3. Government attitude to the subject matter which at the moment is not very friendly which wull even discourage someone who has been curios about the matter in the first instance.

If the entire world will hear this music for many times, surely they will memorize the lyrics of the song and become familiar with it. Just play it most of the time.

I agree to you , some people dont believe in bitcoin because government is just keep intruducing paper currency that other people wouldnt believe on online money or bitcoin. In this generation online money is very valuable . Even kids is using bitcoin, some of oldies just dont believe on online money because they are only believing on fiat.

Yeah. We can not get Bitcoin without working and being lazy will cause a lot of troubles to you. However, it is not very clever to obtain Bitcoin with faucets because the payout is very very low. If you want to get 1 Bitcoin with faucets, it will take you at least a year to get to that amount.

You are right that the payout is low but if someone will lazy and will not want to do hard work then they have to rely on faucets with faucet they will not use much of their mind and they will get some bitcoins with only clicking the reward button.

The payouts were low with faucets. Spending such a long time and earning a very small amount doesn't feel better if the user tries on bitcoin earning for the first time. Because even 24hr work too won't give an earning equal to that earned from day job. Better is to try with several other forms of earning with some initial investment, only then its possible to earn a good amount.

you can get bitcoin on faucets actually. but for practicality faucets is just a small time bitcoin maker. it just give you small amount and do not satisfy you for the time and effort you had spent. maybe they should try seeking other bitcoin sites that actually pays them well based on the time and effort that they give to the certain type of job they do.

People mostly don't buy Bitcoin because they don't even know what BTC is.
If they do know what it is but they still don't buy it, I believe that they are scared of any price drop or getting their Bitcoins scammed.

Not bad, i think almost the same. The group of people who do not know about Bitcoin is big, but it is not their fault that they do not know. Then there are many people who know Bitcoin but do not have them. Some of them might not be able to afford them, the other ones do not believe in it and some think it is a scam. I think most of them never tryed to understand Bitcoin or somebody told them some BS.

Maybe the OP is right and we dance hearing the music they don't hear. We can enjoy the opportunities bitcoin is giving us and live our life. But I think making people use btc is totalitarian. Yes, some more information about it should be spread on the Internet but that's it. And as for the reason, I think some just don't trust anything new on the market and prefer old and tested and others never heard much about it.

I would like to believe that bitcoin's image has changed a lot thru these years. That image you are saying was when bitcoin was still very new. I believe bitcoin is already passed that. There is more positive articles that describe bitcoins nowadays than before. So if an interested person will google bitcoin, they will have better information now than before.

I believe most people are still very much attached to fiat that they find it hard to find a reason to use bitcoin. Why go the trouble of setting up bitcoin wallet, and have lesser options on spending , if you have fiat. That kind of thinking prevents others from exploring bitcoin, understanding the technology and importance to have bitcoin.

actually very easy to get bitcoin, but when the user can not get bitcoin, maybe it's because they do not want to work hard, because to get bitcoin, there are many methods such as using a faucet, PTC, captcha I thought it was an easy method

The problem for people who don't trust Bitcoin is that most don't really know how blockchain technology works, and how it makes Bitcoin a useful and unique way of storing and transferring value.

Another way to see the importance of Bitcoin is to know the ecosystem that is developing thanks to it. At the moment, it will be difficult to see many applications in the mainstream. It is something that is in the early stages of development, but I don't see it as a problem. On the contrary, I see it as an opportunity. People who ignore this will probably be the ones who will buy more expensive later.

I think this world needs in bitcoin education. Cause of when people hear about bitcoin and listen how it works - that's all looks like a scam. Because money through the Internet sounds like scam.
To remove it and to attract people bitcoin has to be on hear. For now it's not enough announced, that's why people are skeptical about it.

   People are just reserved for new things, its not case just with bitcoin, in this thread I saw nice comments referring on how internet starts, how some music found a way to be popular.
   Generally people are holding for tradition and for thing they know and understand. People also like to do what their community thinks its right and there is very conservative communities.
