I am wander where are you from? I am from Serbia and here the popularity of bitcoin is only growing. All my friends know or heard about bitcoin. In such poor country bitcoin became really good way to get some extra money for many people. Bitcoin really helps to me to allow myself something more, but not to live from salary to salary.

And the icing to the cake is that its not getting support from Government too as people are most influenced by the Government and starts feeling that if Government is not supporting it then it may be illegal and if they use it they would put themselves in huge trouble and that is the reason they resist the use of bitcoins.

One definite reason why people do not "get" Bitcoin is because many people are very gladly deciding that they do not want to "get" to know it. This is a simple fact. If there is no necessity for these people to use the technology, they will not use it. If you see what Bitcoin is all about there is no choice for you to become interested and learn enough to be able to use it. That's really not so much the issue in the first place in my opinion.

That's true, Bitcoin is gaining much more coverage of the media, at least in the media related to technology and economics. I think any decent magazine that addresses topics related to financial technology and cryptography should have some material citing Bitcoin. And this is something that is likely to become more common over time.

Bitcoin holds a negative image in the eyes of many people who are not actually using as they get carried away with what people around them speaks about bitcoins and they mainly think that bitcoin is used for illegal activities and holding them would be illegal so they are not showing much interest in bitcoins.

I am from India and not many people know bitcoins at a moment but I was surprised to see program based on bitcoins on business channels where they were described the entire concept of bitcoins and thrown light on the advantages of bitcoins and I was very much satisfied to see that it has been displayed in a positive way.

We can show them the easiest way to get bitcoin and that is from signature campaign and if they have capital and don't want to spend time on the forum then they can be shown how to buy bitcoins and store them in a wallet and if things are kept simple then I am sure they won't hesitate in getting into bitcoins.

It's not a problem to tell other people if they are not interested we can not push them to use bitcoin since its not too well known payment processor.
I already tried them to my friends 2/10 are interested but if bitcoin will be well known and more benefits they can get in bitcoin and more merchant accepting bitcoin i think they will be more interesting to them..
