How to know the amounts of any coin I have to send before buying?

The value needs to equal the amount required for a Platinum ($5000, 5000 VIP) or Silver ($1500, 1500 VIP) Membership.
However there is no minimum purchase requirement you can buy less or more.

The exchange rate is set at 1 ETH = 12 VIP or 1 VIP = $1 USD.

You can use The Legends Room website which uses ShapeShift for any other available coin but ETH, you will be able to send ETH directly to the given address.
Or use the Bittrex sale page which accepts ETH only.

That limit is with Shapeshift and you would need to do 2 separate transactions as their limit is 5000

Yes so long as you have 5000 VIP you will get a Platinum membership.

We may continue to sell memberships via Credit Card or other means until we reach the limit of 3000 memberships if we don't sell out during the MTO.
We need to see how the sale goes first.

However only memberships purchased during the MTO will offer these benefits:

• Platinum Membership: $2500 in Dance Credit + $2500 in Drink Credit (MTO Only)
• Silver Membership: $500 in Dance Credit + $500 in Drink Credit (MTO Only)
