What a great thread Smiley are there any timing straps for Nvidia cards as I have 1080ti they came with a bios writer included in the CD ROM.

No. You may have the BIOS writer but it  can only flash a certified BIOS. So no-one can create custom timings for Nvidia until someone cracks or bypasses the certification check  which isn't going to happen anytime soon.

I'm curious at what voltages GDDR5 chips REALLY work...Hynix datasheets
mention 1.35, 1.5 and 1.55V, yet I see 0.8-1.1 range everywhere (wattman, GPU-Z,
hwinfo...)

...and that means what? Memory voltage is memory controller voltage + some other voltage?

My best Samsung timings still do 33MH/s+ on my 580, so I would think so.

Core 1550, mem 2250 ? Cheesy

And this is the one that cost 0.15 BTC correct?  Shocked

I build and sell rigs! I also sell ssd clones of the most stable Windows+Claymore+AMD driver combo you'd ever used.

Not selling those atm, of course.

No, memory voltage is COMPLETELY different from controller voltage.

I am aware. I get FAR too many messages to reply to the ones that have zero information about what you need, though.

Oh, they know what they want, they want to have faster hashing with EVERY algo, the lowest possible power consumption, so they want an all in one bios Cheesy

No - but selling to some people is EXHAUSTING. I need to ask them every little detail about the cards/memory manufacturers/make&model - and most importantly, EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT DONE, because they don't provide this information. The busier I become, the less time I have to interrogate people who may or may not be interested.

I already sent you all this data by private message, it's been days.
About your blog, there is no way to make the purchase, it's just an image with some examples of bios and nothing else.
I want to buy bios, but apparently you do not want to sell, you do not respond privately and you do not even have a place that sells automatically.

Thanks for the small laugh, you two - seriously. I'm swamped with shit atm, and no matter how much I have on my plate from other sources, I still need to keep the queue of VBIOS work requests moving... and that's ignoring real life! I hate to turn down work, really, I do - but sometimes I just can't take the time to deal with someone who has no clue what they want/need, nor what is offered... (even when my owner kindly set up a page I can direct them to ( http://ohgodagirl.com/vbios ) they STILL apparently either don't read it, or just don't get it at times... and then if they finally get to the stage where the actual mods required are about to be pushed to my work queue... they want to haggle over pricing. While BTC did skyrocket - the current pricing (which was meant to be temporary) is still in effect (ignore the expiration date posted; needs an update to the page) because of BTC's insane rise. So the prices actually haven't changed much since then - yet you still hear "Well, with BTC having gone up so much..."

Shit. I'm rambling instead of clearing work from my queue. But yeah. Feeling a little pressure.

Ah ramble away! And keep fighting the good fight.

Has anyone had any luck with the "brown box" Sapphire RX 470 (11256-31-21G) with Samsung memory?  It's not the same memory used with the uber straps.  It's an EOL memory model K4G41325FC.  I am running 1750 straps @ 2000mhz (not stable any higher) and getting 27.75 mh/s on eth.  They are 24.x out of the box.

1750: 777000000000000022CC1C0010626C49D0571016B50BD509006AE70014051420FA8900A00300000 0191131399D2C3617

Here is the factory rom: https://mega.nz/#!kKg0VLIC!fW6OSA-Iix_f5kn197ReFyoH_9cbf_HVaEs8BPhbaOU

Edit:  Making a little progress.  I have 5 cards all doing 28.1X now.

Hi there,

How did you manage to get 28.1x mhs?

Thanks

Before about DAG 142 or so and the AMD drivers with the memory paging fix, I was able to get > 28Mh/s on all 4 of my Polaris cards without too much tweaking (using Claymore/Win7). Neither of them have Samsung RAM either...that was with AJR, MJR, and BABG.

With the fix now they all do 29+.

I'm hoping I can get Debian 9 running with a more recent kernel and amdgpu drivers soon so I can try out sgminer/linux to see if they'll go faster.

btw I guess I'll just throw this out here...anyone have a fix for this error in the Windows version of sgminer?

Code:
[13:36:54] Error -4: Setting args for the DAG kernel and/or executing it.
[13:36:54] Error: clSetKernelArg of all params failed.

Anyone help me some idea for Elpida timing.. thanks! Huh

There, in stead of bragging.. small basic change.

Just to make sure. Have a rx570 4G Elpida that I`m playing with and already hashing at 28.3mhs at 950mv(Eth+sia) with AMD dag fix driver with mod vbios just doing c/p strap 1:1500 up to 2000 + 2:1500 up to 2000

Did we just replace 1:1500 or 2:1500 or both with this timings settings that Eliovp post? After that did we copy the new 1500 value up to 2000?

Help could be truly appreciate.
Thanks.

If you are running your memory clocks at 1751 or above, then you only need to edit the 2000 strap.
