i need a good cryptonight strap for h5gq8h24mjr
I need it too.

Don't we all?
Akakakakakkakaa, count me in.
For 1150 2100, max i can get only 930 h/s for xmr. How about others?

i can't get even 930 h/s lol
well ok , i did not spend too much time working on this, only a few hours but its hard to believe that with a rx580 8g i can get only 800hs with this shit mem
I have two RX 580 with this shit hynix MJR mem. Max I can reach is 830-850 h/s XMR. Speed differs on different miners.
Claymore 9.7 - 810-820 h/s - 1400/2250
Claymore 10.2 with dmem 1 - 830-840 h/s - 1400/2250
GGS - 850-855 h/s - equal speed on 1250/2250 and 1400/2250.
Max core i can use is 1150 since its already 70w on gpuz, if i pump more, wasting energy.
I just set core 1250 - vddc 900 and memory clock 2250 - mvddc 900. And power draw is equal or even less than yours.
I use sgminer and dont know how to set it. Akakakakakakakkakakaka.
Usually i set at bios, but i cant undervolt in bios and i dont use AB/Trix.
sgminer can set clocks and vcore through config file. Check info in thread for sgminer.

Guys, have you run into issues with Elpida memory, where strap X is working fine from 2000 to ~2100Mhz on 1 card, but on another card it crashes RIGHT away on 2000Mhz. Thats on sgminer and XMR, and both cards are MSI Gaming X RX 580 4GB.

That can happen on any card with any memory.  Just like CPUs and GPUs, the harder you OC, the more likely you'll run into problems.

My MSI RX 580 Gaming X 4Gb with elpida memory straps copied from 1500 onwards crash if mem clock is over 1950. Can't get more than 28 Mh/s on eth and around 670 h/s on monero, is this normal or can I do better?

My Gigabyte RX580 Aorus with same memory runs at 2030 and gives 30.4MH/s so you can probably do better Smiley

That's inspiring thanks, what BIOS or straps are you using?

You need a custom elpida strap.

Four out of eight of my 4gb 580 Nitro+ could reach 31+ at 2100 clock, stable for >24hrs.

I build and sell rigs! I also sell ssd clones of the most stable Windows+Claymore+AMD driver combo you'd ever used.

I have many cards and with my scripts I tested combination of fequency and straps, and some of my card are stuck to 27MH/s at 1870MHz, some 28MH/s at 1970, while some are above 30MH/s nearly at 2200MHz.
Uber and Good staps are often the best, even aroung 1900MHz,
but 1625 or 1750 can be optimal, as 1500.
really everything can happen, and you have to test.

Explain, please, how can I save original bios (aka atiflash in win), modify timings (aka polarisbioseditor in win) and flash a new bios to card (aka atiflash in win) in ubuntu server, without gui?

You might flash the bios without gui, but there's obviously no way to edit the timings since you need a gui software for that. You'll need to find a windows machine to do that.

right, usual way is to atiflash -s (save) the bios, edit it wil polarisbioseditor or srbpolaris on a windows computer, and flash it atiflash -p (flash) on linux, reboot and test.
there is also ohgodatool which can edit some properties from commandline. I never tested.

That's not the only one.  If you read all of this thread you'll find this:

Simple...fire up Emacs, write program for flashing BIOS in GCC, run GCC to compile it,
and there you go, you have bios flasher. You can even sell it for fame and profit

None of it will work though unless you'll have a huge wallpaper with weird half-animals/half-humans with their genitals exposed. The wallpaper should be visible at all times whenever you do that linux stuff. So keep the working windows as small as you can cause the genitals are the key here and should not be obscured by any software nonsense.
