Depression is something that is hard to deal with from the very first place and of course it depends to the person who are experiencing it. We may have different  ways to deal with it because of our differences but one thing that we have to ponder is that everything happens with a reason. There's a wisdom behind everything that is why all we need to do is be patience.

I focus on my hobbies, go to the gym, meditate. Stop beating myself up. Take a step back to figure out why I'm depressed. Surround myself with positive people. Maybe you need professional help? 27 years old - your story is not over - there is still hope.

Asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of. Family can be very helpful, but I suggest professional therapy if you feel like you came to a wall and cant move on. Your health and business is your biggest problems, try focus on them first. Depending on your health, maybe walks in nature would be most apropiate exercise, somewhat like meditation. And again, talk about your problems, dont give up and hide it from yourself and world. I hope all will be well, I believe you can overcome this Wink

The doctor will give you the best advice in this regard. The doctor will give you medicine to defeat depression.

Things that we will write here will not go beyond ordinary recommendations. In my opinion, it is necessary to pay attention to nutrition and sleeping order as a priority for a healthy life. Staying motionless negatively affects human psychology. You can register for a gym. You will be happier and more confident as you see the change from your body.

Of course one of the most important medicines is Sex
Yes, a regular sex life will make you a happier individual.

When I feel that depression tries to sink in my system I try to make myself busy. Do chores, go out, make a project or rest these things helps me divert my worries if I really can't handle it I drink and sleep so that I won't think too much. But I ensure that I won't get wasted when I drink.

If you are in depression you need a specialist to give you a proper advice.  While you are at it, you can start the change yourself.  Try to reach out to your family or your friend.  Their support might help you forget your depression.  Diversify if you feel like depression or anxietyis about to start, you can start doing stuff  that make you feel good. And most of all challenge your negative thoughts.

I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and when depression hits me, it really hits me hard. I deal with it by talking to someone who understands me. Talk to one or few people you trust and be gentle to yourself. Be kind and do not use harsh words nor hurt yourself physically. Pray and always try to be positive even if it is hard. Talk to your psychiatrist and have the goal to do better everyday.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to post something because this is a topic thats close to my heart. I have been battling depression for a few years now and sometimes the best thing to do is just reevaluate your life. Meaning have a look at what you have achieved and what you want to achieve and how you can get there. Every journey starts with a single step, so don't expect to achieve every thing in one week or a day give yourself realistic goals that you can do in due time. I also have been going to hypnotherapy classes. Now there are mixed views about hypnotherapy about how it can be a big con and a waste of money but honestly I have never felt better about myself since going to these sessions. Anyone battling depression you don't need to go through this on your own. There's alot of people that would be willing to help and me being one of them. If anyone here wants someone to talk to sometimes a strangers point of view is what you need so it isn't one sided. Noone be afraid of giving me a message if you want to talk. Always here to help.

I keep myself very busy and crypto helps me with that and I also stay away from listening sad stories on radios or tv.

i try to focus on some pleasant things for me, do what i like to do and not what i have to. or think about people who are in worse state than me (it sometimes helps). and i like how this video puts it nicely https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kfUE41-JFw kinda gives you a bit different angle to look at yourself
