It's an excellent time be alive as a bitcoin holder. Trump is going to screw up badly eventually during the 4 yours, sooner or later he will show how unfit he is to be a politician, and certainly being at the top of the 1st world power. He thinks he can get away with certain things, unfortunately it doesn't work that way.

Markets will react and gold, and specially bitcoin, will go higher. Only complete braindead morons will still be hating on bitcoin once this happens, specially all those gold bugs that are too stupid to diversify and buy some BTCs.

BIG gains to be made during the next 4 years. It could be tomorrow or it could be in 3 years, since Trump is unpredictable, but Trump will make a lot of gold and BTC holders rich.

I agree that if he screws up the economy, there will be some people that will try to find a safe haven for their money. Hopefully that will be Bitcoin. We just don't know how much he will screw things up yet.

It's yet to be seen but I don't see how he will not. Sure he has a team of people to give him advice, but it's clear that sooner or later he is going to fuck up badly, he is too impulsive, he didn't even close his personal twitter account as he should have, so you can expect more twitter antics on his original account that will cause market swings.

The economy is already screwed up beyond repair. Trump can't fix that, there is not enough money in the world to fix it. All that can be done is mitigate the damage. Which is what he is doing. In a global financial collapse it will be the countries that actually produce something that will do best, hence his focus on keeping jobs and production in the states while limiting import.

It goes counter to the past several decades of politics, which is why it is seen as wrong by the common pleb and evil by the few people who profit under the current system, but it is the only correct move.

Well manipulating the situation to depreciate the dollar angered a lot of countries already.... Kennedy was also controversial and we all know what

happened to him. I think a lot of people will realize what he is doing and then protect their wealth by investing in Bitcoin. This happened in other

countries, where the government messed up and their local currency dropped in value. { Perfect example : Venezuela's currency, the bolivar }

I guess he doesn't know yet that what could a president's words do, a president especially US's could easily either cause chaos or stability just by saying 2 sentences, moreover I doubt trump being a stupid and ignore the consequences of his words and not actions Smiley If he boosts the gold market bitcoin's will accelerate it's growth for sure, cause and effect.

It's more likely that Trump will cause chaos, not stability. He is so full of himself, thinking that he can do anything he wants without consequences but that could end up very badly not just for the USA but in the world too. And I'm not sure that his policy and behaviour could bring anything good to Bitcoin.

Trump is a successful entrepreneur, billionaire and business man. I think he understands markets more than any professional politician from Washington,
certainly better than Hillary, who sell off herself to banking industry/Wall Street for their money and support.
Liberal media is presenting him as unstable individual who will create chaos, but don't you think we are already on the way to perdition?

If you make stuff that nobody can buy, I don't see how you're going to fare better. The US fared the last recession it caused better that many countries. Not by building stuff but by printing money. Trump will print like crazy, in my opinion.

Good for BTC.

Supply and demand. The price will be whatever the market can bear.

Printing just delays future problems, and make them bigger. Trump knows this. The old establishment was full of people who lived in the moment, caring nothing for what lies past their term. Trump, and his picks, think ahead.

Unfunded liabilities are ten times higher. Can't even pay the interest on loans at this point, so the debt will just keep growing endlessly.

This can only end in three possible ways: Hyperinflation, default, or a war so bad that little things like numbers become meaningless.

jupiter's orbit is maintained at about 70 kilometers below the base orbital plane of the earth, so you are predicting that the price of bitcoin will drop.  how nice when people talk in stupid phrases and such, i love "to the moon" because for their planetary locations, most people would be angling slightly downward to travel "to the moon".  i get the honeymooners being so stupid, but i would expect more out of year 2016 people.  until its return Haley's comet is at an upward angle from both hemisphere's.

uhhhh are you joking? you think trump didnt sell himself to wall street? one of his first acts as president was to make it so that investment firms that handled retirement funds no longer have to act in the best interests of their clients. he (rightly so) criticized clinton just for giving a speech at goldman sachs. he appointed people from goldman sachs to his cabinet, in positions where they will be in charge of regulating the financial industry. how the fuck is that not being owned by wallstreet?

The over smart politicians are known for collapsing their own economy, with Trump I am also expecting lot of messy due to his dictator like approach.
Nasscom already started predicting long term and short impact of Trump's recent visa and US job policies, all are against dollars growth in short term, that must be a good news for alternate investments like bitcoins...

If he will screw up badly something he will be impeached, and that will be it, will be nothing really bad fro USA economy, but just personally to him and his party.
If he will not screw anything but do plan he presented before elections, then USA might gets into troubles. But such things dont show that fast. Might take few years.

I definitely would agree with you that Trump is unfit as a politician, and even worse as the president. However, he is a business man, which means that he knows what he is doing when it comes to the market. As much as I hate the guy, I have to admit that he has made a shit ton of money and it doesn't just grow off trees. It will be pretty hard to crash the market if he doesn't mess with it, and I doubt that he will.

Although, if he does manage to screw up and crash the market, it will be great for us Bitcoin investors. Not saying that I want it to. *cough* *cough*
