The only thing that i see that Bitcoin can ruin a country if they will not regulate it well. Too much freedom is very dangerous like we all knows that Bitcoin can be use in illegal activities like using it as platform to scam people which mean fraud people can easily steal money from the people thru scam projects which is not good therefore without regulation then it will put the citizens welfare at risks.

Well, i just thought, if bitcoin become a currency of one Country, maybe it can destroy that country? Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax, and tax are used by the government to make that country a good one, without tax, what will be used to spend and make that country a good one?

What do you think?
You have a point, otherwise maybe 50% of people on that country are get invest on Bitcoin think of  it Bitcoin is real but do not have a tax that's right government need a tax for have country a budget for their expenses and to ofcourse pay that workers on the government because in the future Bitcoin is more powerful investment so that may ruin that country and i think in the future Bitcoin is one of the best invesment in the world.

I think that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency can ruin a country in terms of dividing the power of the government. The exchange rate of the dollar in each country in most cases are managed by central banks and the government. With cryptocurrency, a changed and uncontrolled currency, you would decentralize the power causing a big effect on the market. This case would only be valid under the thought that the market fully adapts crypto and the government allows it to happen.

Why do you think that bitcoin has no tax? In many countries, a tax on profits from cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, has been successfully introduced, and it quite really works. A good example is Japan, where last year for an incomplete year, the profit from the use of cryptocurrency gave an increase of 0.6 percent of the country's gross income.
Bitcoin can only deregulate the state’s economy if it is used instead of national money. The circulation of cryptocurrency, along with the national money can only benefit the state.

I think it cannot ruin a country because it helps people a lot not only in a country but also the world that use Bitcoin. As compared to any other bank, Bitcoin have a very fast process of transferring digital money to other person who is in overseas.

bitcoin is a very popular digital currency in the world. Bitcoin changes many people lifestyle and it provides many opportunities to people
bitcoinBTCBTC is not going to ruin a country, bitcoin is providing opportunities to its people for investment and trading, so bitcoin can be a good tool to increase the status of a country economically. I think if the government take a serious step about bitcoin and regularize then they can also impose a tax on it and will certainly collect good tax from bitcoin. Smiley Smiley

If you will ask me about this, Bitcoin is famous currency when they think cryptocurrency, Even though it is decentralized and they cannot control it. When they legalized bitcoin they can find a way to put it a tax on it in the transaction fee. Bitcoin can not ruin a country unless it has a big impact to that country and it can destroy its market economy.

If Bitcoin is accepted in a particular country as main money and replaces national money there, this will be a big problem for this state, but not a single cryptocurrency is able to destroy the state. In this case, a decentralized cryptocurrency will quickly unbalance the economy of this state, since it does not interact with the economy in the way the national money did. Therefore, I do not think that ever the government of any state will decide on such a stupid act.

Adopting bitcoin 100% as a national currency by a country will not stop the collection of tax revenues....infact it will make even more effective! There are many hands though mostly in Africa countries where tax officials collect fiat and it never get to the government's accounts but  with bitcoin any tax payer will make payments and keep all proofs to show upon requested! Adopting cryptocurrencies by countries is a great way to go similarly bitcoin is not going to ruin a country, bitcoin is providing opportunities to its people for investment and trading, so bitcoin can be a good tool to increase the status of a country economically. i think if government take  serious step about bitcoin and regulate it  then they can also impose tax on it and will certainly collect good tax from  bitcoin.

Huh To my mind, Bitcoin can not be the currency of a country. For the following reasons:
1. There is no government control. So there will be more corruption or money laundering by criminal groups
2. Can not collect taxes. While taxes are a source of revenue for the state budget
3. A large number of Bitcoins are owned by some. It will therefore be possible to manipulate the economy resulting in unmanageable consequences.
4. Large financial institutions from other countries may cause an imbalance in your country's economy.

What about you? Please share with me.  Smiley

I dont reallg think that bitcoin can ruin a certain country. Perhaps, it will help the people in that country the opportunity to learn to trade and have financial freedom. No need to work in a company wherein they can only earn minimum amount of money after a long hours of work everyday. Bitcoin can help the economical growth of a country.

Oh yeah definitely! maybe a country with more than 50M population, in that way their currency becomes more valuable than diamond.
Not to mention the lack of liquidity will be their demise if not lack of taxation.

What's the price of BTC at the END of 2018.

I don't know how bitcoin can ruin  a country. All I know is bitcoin is providing some oppurtunities for people to earn money. And for me bitcoin can boost the economy of one country. Because of providing some oppurtunities it means that people can have more money to spare.

Your statement that bitcoin has no tax is not true. Various states have already successfully introduced taxation on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. An example of such a success is Japan, where cryptocurrency, even in the incomplete previous year, achieved GDP growth by 0.6 percent.
However, Bitcoin is under no circumstances able to destroy the state. If it is accepted as the main currency in any state, then due to its high volatility and lack of interaction with the state economy, it will only unbalance its economy and no more.

Never seen it yet, it's the other way around. Bitcoin helped more people in those high-inflation countries.

The emergence of bitcoin and the technology it brings has really delivered the benefits no technology yet can be done. Blockchain allows people to participate in and finance transactions without intermediaries. Bitcoin has shaken the US market and is poised to do the same in the world market. I think it's backward, If we don't apply this technology.

I think anything is possible. If it is used for bad purposes and the state security authorities do not take appropriate measures to prevent such actions, it is possible that cryptocurrencies can affect the economic condition of the country and its peaceful existence.

Bitcoin is created as an alternative online payment and it is not seek to destroy any economy or a country. But since it a highly volatile currency, it may affect any country financially if the bitcoin becomes part of their national economy. Bitcoin is decentralized virtual currency and nobody can control it even a strict regulation. The top cryptocurrency can be legalized and become just one of the alternative currencies available in the market.

At the moment, it's hard to believe that at least someone would dare to use Bitcoin now as payment services for a country that is still too raw Bitcoin, but in the future, what the hell is not joking.
