Great news dev and great to see you here. I truly believe that Boat could be like Rain your other project with some marketing as they are both similar coins. I think we need to try and get Boat listed on Cryptopia as this would help get more exposure and bring in new investors and also miners. I look forward to seeing the new updates.

I am new to POS wallets and was wondering if the BOAT wallet gives the same type of return as the RAIN one.  I've tried about 8 POS wallets so far and RAIN has been the best.   I try to index many coins so I don't like to sink a lot into just a few, so good returns on POS Wallets are awesome.   I think when more people are aware there are better wallets out there they'll switch.  Some of the older POS coins even with very low prices are basically impossible to get stake rewards on because there are (insert Piratespeak here) bag holding whales! (/iPh).

To answer your question on whether Boat gives the same staking rewards as Rain is no. Rain gives random staking rewards where as Boat is currently different where you earn 5% interest. I earn a lot more with my Rain with around the same amount of coins staking compared to Boat where I earn around 5 coins per day from over 50k coins where as I earn a lot more staking Rain every 2nd or 3rd day with like I said the same amount of coins. Boat in my opinion is best to mine right now while staking at the same time which I am doing. I also bought 50k to help with my staking weight but I think mining is better right now.

Yeah I'm not sure about this but from what I understand the rate is 5% APR so I don't think it will be higher once POW stops at block 750,000. Rain is different as its random staking rewards which is owned by this dev so maybe in the future or after POW is finished the dev can implement this random stake feature to Boat just like Rain. But for now its 5% APR and like always the more coins you hold and stake the more staking rewards you will earn.

I'm not the dev but I will try and answer your question. I believe that the minimum maturity is 4 hours so any time after 4 hours you may start to receive staking rewards depending on your weight. I believe the maximum of 1 day is that you any time after this you are guaranteed to earn staking rewards where as after the 4 hours you may earn staking rewards. I hope this makes sense and I think that's what it all means.

It could be that this person is taking some profits from mining the coin which is fair enough and to be honest it hasn't really hurt the price all that much as just over a week ago Boat was sitting at 12 to 20 sats so it's doing well to stay around the current price range. Also I don't think many people even know about this coin so with some marketing it could become as big as its brother Rain.

You have to download the wallet and start it synching in your computer(it can take a day or more to get updated), and then buy as many coins as you can safely afford.  In the wallet, there is something like "Receive" and that is where you'll find the wallet address.  Put that in the exchange where you can find withdraw for BOAT.   You don't have to have it on all the time, but the more time it's on the quicker you'll get a staking reward.

Thanks for answering this members question for me. I would also like to add something and that is Boat is not the same as Rain when it comes to earning stakes as Rain is a random stake feature where we can earn any amount of coins when we stake where as Boat is just 5% per year so of course we can earn more with Rain. The Boat wallet only took me around 30 to 45 minutes to download as this coin was launched this year so the blockchain isn't that big at the moment. Another thing is you don't need to leave your wallet open 24/7 but if you have a few hundred thousand boat coins then yes I would leave it open 24/7 if you can along with the rain wallet if you also hold rain.

2-I honestly do not understand the benefit of mining on pools that use the yiimp platform that does not allow the use of the hmq1725 or other multi-pool algorithm with BTC payment to mine multiple coins at the same time....

You can try the one on Coinmarketcap but I think that one on there is to do with one of the pools but I believe it does show the transactions. I'm sure the dev will get the explorer back up and working again soon as he is working hard on the Rain whitepaper at the moment.
