Great to see a BOAT Twitter handle now. Maybe the banner should be changed as soon Nova is closing? I will follow and re-tweet and most likely get a fair amount of my followers doing the same as I have a good following now on Twitter and 95% of them are crypto related. I agree mate, all good things take time and I believe that Boat will do well in the future. Cryptopia is a good fit for a coin like Boat which I have stated before in this thread and it could be a good time to list Boat on there with the Nova promotion that Cryptopia are having at the moment. We can then later try and get Boat listed on more exchanges, maybe even the big exchanges or a couple decentralized exchanges such as CryptoBridge and Bitquence. The cost I know for CryptoBridge is 0.5 BTC however the owner would lower it 50% if there is volume and liquidity so if Boat can provide that the cost would be 0.25 BTC which is a lot cheaper then almost all the exchanges out there.

I agree mate, all good things take time and I believe that Boat will do well in the future. Cryptopia is a good fit for a coin like Boat which I have stated before in this thread and it could be a good time to list Boat on there with the Nova promotion that Cryptopia are having at the moment. We can then later try and get Boat listed on more exchanges, maybe even the big exchanges or a couple decentralized exchanges such as CryptoBridge and Bitquence. 2.5 BTC? That is to be honest an insane amount one could ask for when adding a coin to an exchange. How about Boat making its own trading website where one can make requests and sell BOAT also possibly offering other things like a digital marketplace?

Switching to the more simplistic name Boat - BOAT is a priority.

Joining Cryptopia will create more attention and that will result in a more fair price for BOAT.  
I think the 2.5BTC is far from cheap, but that investment will earn itself back for the community.

One of the obstacles is the POW difficulty. Every time the price goes up the Network GH/s goes up to 1.5GH/s,
last weekend it happened as well. The miners seem to sell it directly on the right side (buy orders) @ nova exchange.
So the price is not able to go up constructively...

If the POW would be ended an increasing BOAT will be the direct result and a more scarce currency as well.

If the Network mining speed  is 1.5GH/s it results in +/- 3/4 MILLION BOAT being generated a month, with the current demand that's way too much.

But technically this could be quite complicated to adjust POW.

Somethging else, a signature will be designed this week.   That will have impact and a signature campaign will follow.
I'm putting a lot of effort in BOAT to help the community.

It's quite high indeed, but the advantage you have on the long term of a steady exchange is the most important.

You can also bounce on the popularity of a prominent exchange and when you are in the plus and have a descent trading volume people will notice you though Cryptopia.

But if you want to make a real secure exchange, that's probably even more work then finding the BTC2.5 funding.
Although it's always good to put effort in new ideas and expansion. It could be something for the future!

Yes I agree that now it might be too late to sell some of the premine for the Cryptopia listing however I think the dev should of sold some when the price of Boat was in the 100+ sats price range. I even posted in here that the dev should sell some of the premine and use that to pay for the Cryptopia listing but no reply from the dev. We hopefully when POW ends we start to get a more stable price for Boat and people would want to buy to stake.

You're welcome mate as I want to help spread the word as much as I can but I have been waiting to see which direction the coin is going in first before I really get back to promoting Boat more often like I did many months ago.

A lot of developers abandon coins and they are still afloat (pardon the pun).   

It's best to keep in mind that there are not a whole lot of staking coins that have easy entries and are not in immediate danger of tanking to 1 Sat.   The TALK coin had a thread of still existing staking coins.  I think it's good to keep this coin going based on the fact that there are not as many out good ones out there as one might imagine, unless you don't diversify that much or have deeper pockets.  A lot of these POS Coins like Blackcoin may go down in the future:

if this coin get a little more attention from the dev it would do allot... but just like rain the community needs to do everything. the premine was for cryptopia well u should have got boat on cryptopia way sooner instead of holding it( if u still hold it ) this is doomed to fail but hey i keep my few mil of boat for another dev sooner or later it will happen ....

The dev replied me on the name change last week and is positive but indeed we need decisiveness.

Boat (BOAT) is way more simplistic, more usable for campaigning and ready for a revival and then we finally get rid of the friction with the other Doubloon party. 

If the name is changed and the website is online, the next step can be taken, I'm currently redeveloping the website I've made a month ago.

The name within the wallet has to be changed, I will input a more clean BOAT-logo, coinmarketcap adjustment request and the remaining exchanges.

This week a signature is being designed so a future campaign is able to set sail!

If all these changes are implemented I'm going to put work on funding the 2.5BTC for the listing @ Cryptopia.
