There are no plans at the moment, at least not until the number of miners increase.

Still, please don't hesitate to give it a try. We have miners from Latin America and Europe (and occasionally US). They never had any issues connecting.

"Shares Accepted" is a proof of your work. Depending on the pool, you will get varying share count per minute.

Low difficulty pools will make you submit more shares. Conversely, high difficulty pools will make your rig submit shares less often. It is advisable to submit shares not very often (every few minutes is a good number). If you submit a share every 5 seconds or so, you are using extra network traffic unnecessarily.

As long as you are submitting shares before a block is found, "shares per second" is not a very useful metric.

Here's a breakdown of the difficulty my pool supports:

low difficulty - less than 40MH:

I understand but with servers in Asia or EU I get latency or ping issues and end up with more stale or invalid shares. I can even tell a difference between East and West US servers.  Some(or most) of the issue is we have pretty bad internet out here where we live so I always have to choose the closest servers.

I already use the wallet v 1.0.1.0 and added additonal nodes to the config file.
I am linked to 1 peer, but it doesnt start syncing.

Btw, for anybody having the same issue...here the only way I was able to solve it.
I was not able to fix the issue with adding nodes, installing the new wallet or something like that.

At the end I made a backup (just to be save) of my whole MusiCoin folder under ../appdata/Roaming and deleted the original one afterwards.
So my wallet had to load all the stuff again.
But at the end I am now back again at 100% and sync.

The fork hasn't happened yet(probably happen sometime tonight or tomorrow),you are just dealing with a mining pool that a lot of people have problems with getting paid. Sometimes their payments are stuck for weeks at a time.  Right now what has happened is when the pool went offline to upgrade their software,they erased your acct or zeroed it out. They made posts about it on their twitter page.

Normally I will check some pool if they will pay me or not and then check their pool's profit percentage compare with other pools.

My first mining on a taiwan music pool was also bad. 

I tested four hours and then gave it up.

I just would like to re-iterate, nomnom is NOT the official musicoin pool. He is not part of the musicoin team.

Musicoin developers have been telling miners to stay away from this scam pool.

I've been in Nomnom pool before and your mined coin will be stuck from hours to days, even with like 700mh hashpower

Also it doesn't make sense how they can pay 314 coins per block while regular pools pay 250 as per official announcement. Their block explorer is either not working or displays alternative figures than the official one.

Something is fishy with that pool and people fall victim to this. The Devs should find a way to shut down that scam pool for good. Otherwise ppl get scammed and spread FUD news, and it's not good for the project.

Yes. After upgrading the wallet app, syncing can take a while - several hours to a day.

As an alternative to confirm that your coins are still in the wallet, just use the online explorer - https://explorer.musicoin.org/

Depends on what card you're using.  I can tell you with a 1070 it is at $0.13/kWh is, but not by much    No coin is right now, to be fair.
