Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password?
I think so, just so people can choose what they want. I've seen some sites that are like this. For example, Spotify. It's not a gambling site but it lets you log in through your facebook account or you're going to register an account. I get lazy sometimes and I just hit log in through facebook since I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Same goes with gambling, there's no big deal if someone sees my profile in a gambling site. I don't really have to remain that much anonymous since there's nothing wrong with gambling online (in my country, at least). well if you don't have restriction and your love ones knew about your activity might be possible but in my case my gambling activity is just discreet and i don't want it to be known by my friends and family that's why i really don't like to use my social media account to play with gambling site.

I started gambling, because of bitcoin, before it i know about gambling sites, but i was not using them with twitter, google and Facebook Id. Because i don't want to gambler, but now i am gambler, so i don't want to use anything more except bitcoin. Because for me, it is easy to play gambling with bitcoin other than twitter, google and Facebook Id.
I see that it is your way to cover all the things you do in gambling. For those who do not will be gambling may admit what they are doing, because gambling is a very bad place for those who already know it or getting the story from others. You should be able to control themselves in gambling, if indeed you do not want known to all people. For if you can't control yourself, it will be very easy for everyone to know it

No i wouldn't because we never know what terms they may add as most of us simply authorize and don't really read what we are allowing them to do. Plus if there is a email option then that is just the best one as they can't really do anything if i provide them my email

I definitely wouldn't use that feature if it was offered on a gambling website. There's too much information on social media profiles and I think that a gambling site doesn't have any business knowing everything about you.

I prefer to use the secondary mail that I've have for the use in gambling websites. The reason is that the same as quoted in the above post, most of the personal information have been saved to it. At any point losing it makes a risk, as well it serves to be an information hub to know all about us.

Yes, what will be the use of your informations if you are only a gambler . Even real casino's will dont waste time to know you if once you enter ,they only know you will play gambling. So its a big questionable there . In my own knowledge about giving some information of mine i am mindful that i will only give my basic information or identity in a legal company which i know and have a proof of legitimization.

I still don't want to used my social media accounts to login to a gambling sites because I don't want to expose myself to others in my circle that I'm gambling. I'm not ashamed of my gambling as I'm not addicted to it, however, I just want to remain private about it. Or maybe in the future if you are trying to get a job and saw that in your social media accounts that you are gambling, chances are the company that you are applying will have second thoughts hiring you because you are attached in gambling.

yes all must do the same with you. Login with facebook, twitter, google and so means they keep our identity. Safe only if there is no bad thing, but we do not know what will happen, we can not control what we will get, if there are times when we do bad things by accident, we could be a little safe if it does not enter our identity in fact our identity in as much detail as facebook, twitter and others.

I only use my social media accounts for logging-in on trusted and verified sites. I don't want to risk my account informations especially on gambling sites that usually for players that hides their identity. Anyway, there are security features that makes your account safe.

That's correct dude. Especially these times when security can easily be compromised through the internet. I also don't put private information in my social.media accounts but still therr are information and things there that can be abused if accessed by other people. Its better to be safe than sorry.

no problem for me i can log with twitter google or facebook, you know why? because i have fake account there too lol, you really think i'm going to give up to my privacy because of this? of course not, you can alwys be anonymous on the internet unless they are asking id proof with photo, and for those site i stay away from their business
Yeaaa you can always create a one time used social media account, so it should not be a big deal. But what is the point have to use social mefia to log in or sign up? It is really not necessary , it will makes people have a lot of speculation, people will accuse the site owner to collecting info of player. i find it easy to log in with social media account, you don't need to create another account every time for registration, but i don't want to expose my privacy, therefore i use a fake account especially with facebook that have all your detail and identity

Nope, I don't like to provide my personal information to a gambling site and this is one of the reason why I like using bitcoin to gamble. If the day comes when you need to verify yourself when gambling with bitcoin, I might as well use fiat to gamble instead. The advantage of using bitcoin is anonymity and this is something gambling in fiat does not provide.

Most sites, at least dice sites, provide either a login url (Just-Dice, SatoshiDice) or ask for a user name and password (BitDice, PrimeDice). One of the benefits of Bitcoin gambling is betting anonymously. There has been a couple of sites however that allowed you to login with your social media profiles, though they seem to be dead now Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password? What are these couple of sites? The id identification with Facebook could easily rigged off with easy tricks ... like create a new account! I think it's not convenient for real gaming. I don't think so. For me I don't want because there's a lot things or information about my accounts and I dont want to acces it by someone. I like to play gambling as a anonymous so that no one can bother me. And besides when there's a possibility that a gambling site was being hacked, I dont want my infos when my account is logged in. Hackers might access my info and might use it to something that may cause me some problems. Nowadays it is better to be safe than to risk something. You need to be sure in some things that may get worse and then you realize in ending what have you've done. That's all. Thank you. Goodluck Bitcoiners!

I just think it was bad idea for a casino who have feature to linked social media to their account. Most player never want to share any gambling activity to their social media account, never proud of it. Social media indeed good for promotion , but i don't think people who have gamble for years will love it.

I feel it's risky and might give out so much information about the player than he wants to let out so a sense of insecurity might ensue and the ability of attacks on individual accounts will escalate and put insecured players off gambling websites do it better not be implemented on a large scale.

Your one point is correct, and many people will not like to share their gambling activities to family members and friends and loved once. If you log in with any social media account then automatically they will get to know that you are in gambling activity. That is why people scare to use their personal social media account to log in any gambling site.

For the ease of convence yes I would. It would make things much more easy to manage as a player and have the accounts we play on all connected but perhaps that is a problem because of the google account is hacked or the password lost or something like thst then all the casinos and their respective balances will be locked out. Thst would not be good. Privacy can be an issue too but of coarse you not forced to use this method of logging in. Maybe it will just become too problematic for casinoes to deal with if things go wrong since they not on control of google and other account they can only control your account and the email assigned to it

i think if we want to playing gambling with using bitcoin as our bets, its not good to login with our twitter, google or facebook because for me, i want to be invincible and i don't want to show my activity to other people so when i am playing gambling, i hope that there is no other people that will know.
