I'm just sending BTC52.802.  If it ends up being a little more/less to make an even chip, we'll sort it out.

Yes. Please calculate how much chips you would like (take a quick look at the spreadsheet) and send accordingly. To get an even amount of chips, you'll have to send a bit more or less than 50BTC exactly.

Looks like 52.802 for approx 660 chips.  Look about right?   (entered 51.48 in column B)

(660/12.8205128205128) * 1.025 + 0.035 = 52.802

That is correct, according to my calculations.

How many coins are left to meet the target?

Edit: nvm, I see the counter at the OP is real time.

PS: I've sent out the PM's around 7 hours ago. I have a few confirmations in with various timelines, hopefully this gets done before this Friday. This is starting to make me feel like the organizer now.  Undecided

Where's the OP?  I'd feel better if he were answering these questions.  The last I head is that he said something about being a part of a group of engineers that have big asic plans.  I'd like to know more about those plans, (as may of us here will need that kind of expertise.  Myself included).  Are any of them in the bitcointalk community?  Just hearing from them here would go miles towards building trust here.  John is only responsible for the coins.  Ragingazn has ultimate responsibility for the chips.  And, yes I do agree with these terms.

I'm in for 20 coins.  Raging has said he will post his coins (about 40) in a few days.

JohnK and I are taking turns pretty much lol - I am up when he goes to sleep and he's up when I'm still asleep.

Yes I've been talking to local engineers to start up a project. Everyone's excited about this. Nothing is set in stone yet but I will let you know once the team is put together and our website is up etc. But the plan is that by the time the chips start shipping we would be able to offer a service to build ASIC machines using your chips that you ordered. You obviously would have to pay for the extra parts (PCB / PSU etc.) and labor. But that's all in the future for now. I am just planning ahead while we wait!

Confirmed - you actually overpaid 0.01025 for 260 chips. The amount will be placed forward for your shipping fees (from OP to you).
Thanks.

We're at 779.374 now! I will be PM'ing those who hasn't done their payments yet as they're in line to get rejected from the queue.

I might be removing those who pledged but failed to respond when new payments are in. The only way to secure your place here is to pay. Those that contacted me with promises to pay before the end of this week will be the last on the list to go, though.

Thanks.

Can you drop me the tx again for the 20.9 payment? If you can settle the balance within 1 week, the 3.x btc of chips may still be allocated to you. Thanks

Aa we are now in striking distance can we get an ETA on the order coming up on the blockchain as processed by Avalon? Thanks guys! This is an excellent initiative for distributed design and hash power safety!

As soon as the escrow address hits the needed amount of funds I will be sending this order in to Avalon. (provided OP provides me with his address and details in time too, of course)

Hey,

Just to notify you that you need to send your payment to the escrow address listed here for your order: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177994.msg1912237#msg1912237

Please do this ASAP as we want to get this order out as soon as possible. Late payments may be kicked off the queue without any prior warnings.

Thank you.
John

PS: This is BCC'ed to everyone who hasn't paid yet. Please inform me if you've paid and post in the thread about this.

Apologies John, im pulling out of this, my situation has changed Sad
Deleted.

Drat, not another one again.  Angry
I guess anyone who wants a spot can just send coins and confirm here - too much of cancels for this. We should've just required people to send coins when doing their pledges as some people will not go through with their promises...

When I get home I'll transfer another 4.68*1.025+0.035 = 4.8320 for additional 60 chips. Please people do your transactions before that so I'm left out (but at least the Avalon order can be made!).

Thanks - please confirm here after doing so. I'm trying to get this done ASAP and will kick those who never reply to my requests of payments. (as I'd assume they're just pledging for fun)
The next time I hold/co-hold another group buy, I am requiring everyone to pledge by sending their coins. I've had enough of cancellations now as it's eating in my and others' time.  Angry
