This would be good for uploading the latest series from netflix or other new seasons that come out.
People are too fixated on movies when there's so many other things.
It's not about fixated on movies it's many people work and have life commitments so sitting down watching to series often will not work out. For me at least, I like to watch a movie no the ending and move on with life lol. Anyone can upload series? You are right there being a lot of other things but they will be thought up when novus isn't such a baby 👶 |

This is an important sentiment I would point out for people. AFIX is not fixated or limited to simply being a movie or tv platform. Even limiting it to images and music as well is still thinking in to small of a scope but this will be made more clear over time for everyone as they see the project come together  As we mentioned before, the current changes we're focused on right now aren't exactly visually heavy but they do open the door to many of the big possibilities we're talking about above in terms of long term flexibility. Despite this, we are also working on some slight restyling of the video SFSI to go along with the upcoming update. Here's a small preview of the mock up of the visual changes to come, hope you guys enjoy and any suggestions or improvements can be discussed in #ideasThanks.  |

I just finished watching the naked gun on the site, first movie I've watched on it fully actually and it loaded lightning fast and never even once lagged to buffer. Will all movies play as well as this one just did or did I just happen to get lucky. Anyone know.

you can also hit the little download button on the bottom right of the movie and download then play it. When they are newly uploaded it takes a bit to play good as it needs to get around to more nodes before it plays faster and better |

Learn to read, it clearly states a date is yet unkown and will be announced.. you can't put a countdown timer to unknown. Get some reading glasses |

On a positive note, the ICO has gone and is running long enough for very many people to get involved. ICO's that are too quick leaves little opportunity for people to even discover the project.

So my stance on this project has changed. Im excited to see where you can take this as I really like IPFS and filesharing is itching for a platform like this.
Is it planned to host the website on something like i2p,zeronet,tor to divert from take downs?
Why can I not pin a video thats playing to help distribute it?

It is exciting times and unknown end date keeps me on edge and coming back. Most projects and decks would rush shit just to get it out but glad to see it's being done right here. As above said it has been crying out for a platform like this. And with a dev that is as dedicated to do it right as this, we're all going to be happy when it goes to the Novusphere 👏 |

need to run an IPFS node bro, then grab the hash and do a ipfs add file, then ipfs pin add hash I also noticed the movies play better on the computer running the node |
