Yep, I could sense a big dump was coming.

will it bounce back like its done all day?

probably not, b4 now we one whale had painted a series of higher lows [while selling coins to himself], this trend is broken, epic knife coming everyone run to darkcoin Ripple!

FTFY  Cheesy

yes the same whale everywhere at the same time, and no one else contributed to this...

You do realize a single whale can have multiple trading accounts on multiple exchanges, right?  That's how they arbitrage, as well as fake the market volume.   Grin

its truly weird

there is no bad news

yet someone keeps dumping large sums of bitcoin all at once, and seem to TRY to keep price low right after, why?

isn't that what we want?
we want the world on board,
Do you want Mike Hearn's proposal to let miners vote to confiscate the block rewards of other miners, or mandatory blacklists?

GABI wants a run up starting 9/1.

At the end of September, they want to be able to tell potential investors that their fund had a 30% return in 30 days.  Would put us back at 630 or so.

If they had $30mm or so to play around with, it would be easy.  And even if they lost 10% of that $30mm, they make it back by charging their investors.

Not saying it's what is happening, but if you want to know a potential reason why price and value have diverged...

More or less... it creates the situation where even if you think this is generally a good price you have the lingering suspicion that it has to retest lows and you don't really know what the hell he is up to. Even if he were done, this is a tough bounce point for a rally. Feels like there has to be more to come.

I don't think that potential GABI clients would be impressed by a 30% run-up following a 30% nearly vertical drop.  But maybe there are enough such suckers out there.

By the way, has there been any professional review of bitcoin funds (SMBIT, PBP, and the new ones) in financial media -- apart from paid "adnews"?

Ethereum may still be dumping coins too. They moved about $600,000 USD of coins 2-3 times and maybe they are selling them in waves so that price doesn't just immediately dump even worse than it is now.
