The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

He's over on Risto's forum -- cryptocrypt.org

goat set-up cryptocrypt initially, some others manage it now (invite only) ... no idea why you think it is "Risto's forum".

I think it was Goat and Risto together (certainly from what I have gleaned there -- they are both very deferential to the other's involvement) and Risto certainly took the lead in the membership drive.  I know Goat never likes to think of it as 'his', whereas I always imagine Risto to consider himself the public figure head.  So, yeah, why not.

Of all the things to worry about, this wall is not likely to be one of them.

Is he at least known for manipulating it the other direction too?  If you are going to manipulate, upwards is "more fun."  Wink

Yes, and he has some really quite interesting ways to do it. He is publicly a bull (at least used to be, I imagine still is) and wants BTC to succeed.

I wonder if some large miner is trying to sell off their stored up bitcoins in order to break even on their hardware investment before bitcoin price tanks more.
