So far I'm only seeing small fish buying in. (The wall for example, that was bought by thousands)

Will we see the bigger whales (many who sold BTC1k+ at over $1000) join?

Maybe most of the people who want bitcoin now are people with not a lot of dosh.

I see sentiment around the community remarkably similar to early (5-10th) July 2013. Lets hope for a repeat!!

I don't mind missing the Ripple train.  I wish Ripple investors all the success in the world with their investment.  I think there are tons of opportunities and I don't feel compelled to recognize or take a chance on all of them.

The new Ripple that the banks will control will be fantastic, make a new Ripple worth $1 (and issue as needed /funded) and use it to transfer bank funds around the world.

As a store of value or worth Ripple is worthless, IMO.

This guy gets it, once you have a centrally controlled currency (like ripple) the incentive of the central control isn't on increasing the worth of each unit (the ripple), can you imagine a bank doing this?

Huh? He is just making a proposal to extend the protocol to allow more transactions per block. Everyone will need new clients to make it work. But where is the destructive effect? Or am I too rational regarding your post?
