Afterwards the price went up to about 238 for a while. I think the price going down had more to do with the news of the ~1500 Bitcoins stolen from Bitfinex. |

Quite a lot of people will empty out their fiat from an exchange by buying BTC and try to GTFO when it is hacked. That, coupled with finex asking customers to stop making deposits, makes me think it's no coincidence that finex led the recent rise. I, and I guess most others in this thread, expected a rise because of this on Friday. What is encouraging thus far is the lack of a serious crash afterwards. But the dust might not have settled yet. |
