220 still magic number for now  Smiley
Cracks are appearing but how long is it going to hold?
You god damn bears are having your way right now, I initially thought 220 would hold but the longer it hovers just above the more likely it is to fall below.
I can't remember what a green dildo looks like lol.

According to my sources, your prayers could be answered in August. Until then, flimsy green dildos in between many large red ones. Grin
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Believe it or not, bitcoin traders often use litecoin to move funds quickly between exchanges to take advantage of arbitrage opportunities.

Should I believe it or not?

I give you the coins, now show me the money.

light bulb miner guys. it's big

Which one your girlfriend is more likely to come upstairs to see:

(a) the autographed photo of you and Justin Bieber;
(b) the pet rock that Granma gave you;
(c) your bitcoin-mining lamp?

But maybe one can use heat from a mining chip to drive a Lava Lamp?

Actually a better idea. The waste product is heat, so all they've made is a less efficient, hotter, LED lightbulb. Nonsense.

I'm just wondering how this is going to look like with the new wave of energy efficiency legislation. I can't buy a regular light bulb anymore because it's too energy inefficient, putting a miner in it won't help.

Edit: Not to mention encouraging people to leave their lights on for longer than needed.

i think you ppl get it wrong... its special bitcoin miner plus lamp plus room heater... its awesome

I want a bitcoin miner in my hot tub.

I'm not really a fan of water cooling.  Maintenance is a pain, leaks are inevitable.

On the other hand, in the winter I see these things under every other person's desk at work and I just cringe when I think of all that wasted electricity.

Absolutely no reason that all electric space heaters won't eventually be replaced with mining rigs, in my opinion.

am a bit afraid of a 51% attack of self-aware heaters  Smiley

That aside, you can't troll heaters as mining rigs, well during winter/in cold countries at least. I kept warm a room with my gpus when i was mining, was nice  Smiley

Don't you mean 222? It's some good luck number in China and for bitcoin price manipulators.

Agreed. I can see $230 as a possibility today. Would be nice to erase the bad weekend memories.

That can be fixed with proper cooling.

It feels like trench warfare. You dig a trench, establish a line of resistance, fight it out for a bit, are overrun, retreat a while and dig a new trench...

It's like the price war of attrition.
