euro is fucked up, I am watching my euros going down against usd and wish I would have bought more bitcoins in the 200s in october
If you want to protect wealth, you better buy those "evil, evil" US dollars, not bitcoin, gold or other speculative "products" FED rocks!

Just that it's a shitty financial tool, compared to bitcoin. Any fiat is, really. Hence why bitcoin is worth so much more (300+ times, at the moment). One of such advantages is a one-cent transaction fee to send any amount of money anywhere in the world (so long as there is Internet and electricity there)... In less than an hour. So, it's safer to have your life savings in usd, but you should have some percentage of your investment money in bitcoin (and tesla, their 2017 model will do great, I reckon).

What is the true value of 1 bitcoin? Nobody knows.
1 full bitcoin (1.0 BTC) is as scarce as 12kg of above ground gold. The price will readjust itself in the long run to reflect this. I'm not saying it will go to the value of 12kg gold, but price has to adjust to accommodate the scarcity factor. Nice metaphor.

Common sense tells us that $ should devalue drastically from the very strange heights its at right now. But this is a game without universal rules. The house (US hegemons) can bend and alter rules however and whenever they wish. The proof is $ rally and depreciation of precious metals. As far as TESLA, I used to own some stock but I sold it too soon at a loss - buy high, sell lower - the most widespread trading strategy amongst non-professionals. But I like TESLA a lot. And also SpaceX. You can buy Alphabet to get some exposure to SpaceX.

You can add delayed deposits to the long list of problems Kraken has been having lately. I hope I didn't totally miss the buy-in opportunity.
My EUR deposit of this morning was added to my account just fine.

The USD Rockefeller centric Hegemony are even worse than the Bitstamp Whales. They can do what the fuck they like, to anything they like, except Russian and Chinese foreign interests, but they are working on that, slowly but surely.

The FED talks a little bit more about rate hikes than negative rates these days so the dollar rally may be justified. But I doubt that they´ll raise rates this decade. The FED itself is leveraged like 80 to 1 and the rest of the system their owners included is about as weak. Even small hikes and much of the mess will simply evaporate. Bond price and yield do move in opposite directions after all.

Current US dollar strength is due to deleveraging. If net outstanding debt is being payed back, then the fractional reserve money multiplier runs in reverse. Debts that default also reduce the money supply.

Mario Draghi from ecb does everything to devaluate the euro. So his friends from Goldman Sachs can start a nice little shopping tour here in Germany and buy our companies and real estates. Kinda cool if you know that the euro will go down before others know it.

The dollar rally started mid 2014 when the FED started talking about interest rate hikes. It slowed when they started talking negative rates inbetween. Will probably fizzle when they continue doing the same: talking east and west about doing this or that and doing nothing.

Why was the Euro EVER worth so much....? What magic is going on that allows the Reserve to deposit trillions into bank accounts but there is no inflation?

Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Germany and other rich nations in the EU backing all the other poorer ones. Kind of like a piggyback effect if you will.

I have two keys to a locker that may or may not contain 24 billion dollars - how much are they worth? Scarcity does not equate to value.

A rising dollar imports deflation into the U.S. obviously. Unfortunately for the U.S. it also exports inflation (making exports less competitive) but that´s not really a big deal since the most important products are weapons, porn, hollywood crap and of course dollars.
