We
Yes.... we are experiencing "the bitcoin" - together... all of us... even if "we" may perceive our experience differently. And in that regard... "we" seem to be heading up... and not stuck at 1717.17 or any other static numerological place.

Hey JJG, looks like the whales are having trouble again dialing it in to $1699.9999 Oh my!!!!! Oh my!!!!! The troubling part seems to be that you believe some of this. All in good fun - looks like the HODLrs and the buyers are in luck.. and we got ourselves a violent $30-$40 upwards breakout.. Once we get to $1820 or so, then maybe we are going to be on our way to testing $2k? What you think baby bulls, regular bulls and old bulls? (not too many bears left.. hahahahahaha) if there is they are getting trampled

So what happened regarding the ETF SEC today?
I see no effect on price except a small fall in price that seems natural.
Any statement or something has been released?

No decision yet. Today was the deadline to submit comments to the SEC.

Hmmm... that seems interesting! All I can say is that "the awakening" is coming! And the future is one of individual independence, personal space and privacy... but also transparency for mostly everything! I can already see a thousand individuals per million of people in most of the countries and around the globe with a microscope, centrifuge, spectrometer... etc... testing produce from the supermarket in their own home and posting results anonymously on the internet or in some kind of app. (*edit: that app would work with blockchain technology... so no one could take it down!)

In the meantime, ripple bubbling to more than 1/3 of BTC marketcap in no time. Do you think it´s ripe to short the hell of or will continue pumping?
I have tried to love it, to invest in ripple from a pure economic point of view, but the fundamentals are so screwed and bank driven than I just exit with some BTC profits. I just prefer to short it when the time arrives, that seems to be really close
edit: btc dominance 50.5%

Maybe ripple is great but I don't see how it's ended up being lumped in with any proper crypto.
Considering the pumpiness and the banking trope, which will probably have nothing to do with xrp, it could easily dwarf bitcoin. I for one won't care in the slightest.

Of all the altcoins Ripple is the last one I expected to be pumped like this. But if you forget about fundamentals it makes some sense that the most centralised and the one with smaller free-float coin could do this if the owners engage in some "shady" trading tactics.
As soon as the pump ends, the crash will be epic (much bigger than BTC crash in 2013-2014)... but while it lasts, it is making negative pressure on BTC price as that is what most traders are shorting to go long on XRP.
The good thing is that, once that happens, it could propel BTC to record heights.

Actually right now Ripple shows in 1st place and Bitcoin 2nd. # Name Market Cap Price Total Supply Volume (24h) % Change (24h) Price Graph (7d) 1 Ripple Ripple $31,271,273,545 $0.312729 99,994,799,156 XRP * $298,033,000 34.40% 2 Bitcoin Bitcoin $27,714,801,664 $1696.88 16,332,800 BTC $804,322,000 -5.29% Like I said before that rank is counting the total supply and not the circulation supply... there is only 38B xrp in circulation.
