Good to know...

I've avoided Eth like the plague because of their BS like this. Of course, I've also avoided making a shitload of $$$ on Eth...

It's not just you. There are others like me and a few more who haven't bought any Eth because of this bs.
Once in a while I was shorting that crap when there was an opportunity. But lately there's no chance doing so due to the rise because of all those ICO scams on top of Ethereum scam.
However I know I just need to have patience. The time for another big bear party with Ethereum will come. It'll be awesome.

This is looking more like April-2013 than Nov-2013.

Absolutely. I don't know why people are comparing it to november 2013. That bubble wasn't a quick rise and successive fall, it was several in succession where the last was the biggest. Otherwise it wouldn't have been so epic. It took the better part of a year, and if we're going to have a bubble in 2017 I don't see why it would be much different. If it is so, then we've only seen the first two selloffs of the runup. This could go far still.

Yes searing we are easy to forget the very recent battle to reach gold parity. It's funny how we become used to certain prices so quickly. double gold 1oz price.....amazing.

Spot price, yes. Actually try to buy 2oz gold for 1 BTC from bitgild and you get SPANKED by BitPay's massive spread, or commission fee, or breathing charge, or whatever it is.

be prepare for the next PUMP : http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-06-04/its-buying-dream-japanese-and-south-korean-investors-fuel-bitcoins-meteoric-rise

Quote
Retail investors in Asia, many of whom are already regular investors in stock and futures markets, are turning to bitcoin in droves. Trading volume on Asia-based exchanges exploded following a Japanese law that officially designated bitcoin as legal currency. And now that the largest Chinese exchanges have reinstated customer withdrawals, the bitcoin market in China will likely stabilize, and the price will likely rise as a result.

Bitcoin was recently trading in South Korea at a $400 premium to its value on US-based exchanges, in part due to tough money-laundering rules that make it difficult to move bitcoin in and out of those markets, Reuters reports.

One of the retail traders interviewed by Reuters said she started with bitcoin because she’s worried she won’t be able to rely on her pension.

Good lord. And the ETH supporters, who were originally all principled Bitcoiners, now apparently don't give a shit about a permissionless, trustless cryptocurrency that can't be just rolled back, censored, or 'deleted'.

Talk about justifying one's position. Not to mention I think it's humorous that nobody but Vitalik really even knows how ETH works at the nuts and bolts level, or what it's flaws are. Gonna be a huge disaster in the future.

A very good morning Bitcoinland.

I see the nice steady uptrend continues... currently $2596USD/$3504CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

How long before the mainstream financial media is forced to admit that Bitcoin is for real and that this is just sustained growth and not a bubble?

Gotta love it. Go Bitcoin go.

Indeed. It's actually both sustained and exponential and will be until it finishes the vertical phase which it hasn't even entered yet.

Yeehaw!
