Wait, guys you're trying to say you're still reading "paper" newspapers? The last time I read one was like ~10 years ago. Always wondered who's buying those traditional newspapers now.    Grin

You all are really a bit obsessed with your roach toyboy, aren't you?

That's what i was thinking at this exact instant ! Who are you ? Are you me from another verse ?
I'm you from the future - you have to send all your BTC to you (me) to prevent harm and save the world!  Grin
(also never trust men in pink underwear)

You might wanna check this.  Grin

I'm You, Dickhead (short film, 2014)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAUjt7KWp9A

Didn't know that yet...hillarious and inspiring
Hit me right into my trauma of 2011
"I'm you dickhead. Buy bitcoin NOW...not later!"
On the other side...i might have to deal now with the "Sold everything 2014 me", the "still-whale me", or the "where is that fucking harddrive?!" me"   Grin

Yeah, it's a good one. I was under the impression that you already familiar with this gig and you left the keyword " Dickhead" intentionally to not offend another poster Grin
One can surely cook an exciting story. A fair amount of poster here in this thread has a good sense of humor including trolls too.  Cheesy

[[edited out]
In fact soon Ill be gone for many years while you will be posting endless paragraphs for unnecessary self-aggrandizement as you call it.

Yes.  Your days are likely numbered in this forum under your current account since you don't really seem to be making any meaningful contribution with your ongoing spewing of nonsense, and probably you are notlambchop or one of his/her/its sock puppets, anyhow.  Your writing style is similar to notlambchop, even if, currently, you are trying to act as if you are a bulltard, rather than a beartard.

Thanks for the patience Infofront, you really do an outstanding job here! I will continue to read the thread and hodl as I convert nocoiners to Bitcoiners in the real world. I will be back at the next bear bottom if needed to slay the next prime Beartard. Best regards to Goose, Bitserve, Cryptotourist, Hairy, V8s(my fren Vastly Wink), and everyone else. Even you JJG. Just try not to use the words seem and seemingly so much and you will be ok. Cheesy

On the other hand, you are obsessing a little with GEMINI ads.

There are so many other Gemini's to obsess on:

Being a relatively newer BTC fan, I though I'd visit a few random pages of the past in this HUUUUGE thread and see the reactions of people from past rallies and selloffs, so here are some quotes, enjoy! Wink

BTC Rallies up to 145$ during the April 2013
What the heck is going on. This is unreal!!! At this rate we will be 200+ in a few days.

Freakin' thing is going parabolic.  Again.

Guys listen...

WTF!!!

Its up $10 in like 2 minutes???

How the fuck am i supposed to sleep. This is the biggest rally ever. Period.

It falls to 83$ on May 3rd
So long as there are entities with 10k+ btc it seems risky to me to be holding btc for any significant length of time during the start of a downtrend.

Agreed ... thats why I prefer to take a small loss and walk away than to sit with a position that was intended to be short term and did not pan out

(This is golden!!)
So now almost everyone is a bear? Investor cycle says we are going up then.  Tongue

And on May 6th it indeed went up at 123$, but on May 8th it fell a bit at 112$ and...
Shorting BTC is starting to be available on different platforms. When that spreads, we will see more downward pressure.

I am shorting it... and I know it will fall. Its just making all of you a fool

There is no BTC reality. Currency value equals to amount of gold it holds. BTC has nothing to back itself. No Equity. Pure liquid capital investement. When the anonymous japanese runs away with all your money.... people will cry here

On November we had a huge rally without a correction; On November 9th BTC was at 359$.
(Some articles praised BTC as a great investment)
Why not pour some petrol on the fire:

http://blogs.marketwatch.com/thetell/2013/11/08/secondmarkets-bitcoin-investment-trust-puts-bitcoin-in-iras/

"Interest in the Bitcoin Investment Trust is coming from technology entrepreneurs, family offices and people on Wall Street. Some family offices are beginning to put a portion of their gold allocation into bitcoin Silbert said. "

On November 19th BTC hits a peak of 750$. People were mixed back then.
China unfazed. Rally resumes.
ive dumped. Gettin off this train before it derails!
Bears want this rally to be like April. What they forget is that if this is like that rally, we are headed for well over $1k.
Ok, I bought back in.

BTC crash in 3.....2......1....
Cause that's just my luck

And the next day it crashed to 482$!
Is this the final blow to bitcoin?
Have we officially gone now from correction to full blown bubble collapse?
Right now people are clinging for dear life onto the crazy november trendline. I guess when that breaks.. we go to the october trendline? That would be around $300.

However these were 1 to 2 days sell-offs, not a year long bear market like today. People use to be optimistic when the sell-off lasts a few hours or a week.
Even though I've selected some posts that show a sentiment opposite to the price's direction following a few days later, many others were showing an optimism after every dip.

+1 (this merit thing is starting to get annoying for WO leechers)

When’s the next sMerit air drop for normal posters, not Merit Sources?
I like to spread my seed but I’ve been dry for ages.

I doubt that there is going to be any additional membership-wide smerit air drop at any time in the near future.

Such an airdrop would not make much sense in the scheme of the incentives that are being attempted with the current smerit implementation - because a membership-wide airdrop would likely incentivize the kind of behavior that is attempting to be regulated through the use of smerit sources, and some attempts at a degree of smerit scarcity.

But receive 2 and then you can give one. Gives merit a half life (aside from the sources I suppose)

Maybe let people give what they get and have a more closed pool instead.
