It's basically, either we correct/consolidate now or we have a large correction/crash from quadruple digits. I'd rather see this thing take a breather for now and continue chugging along steadily for the run to quintuple digits.

By the way, congrats to all who saw this giant rally coming from a mile away, back in Sept/Oct.
I would love to see a tripple bottom around 510.

Hmm...

Normal reaction to price runup I would think.  Everyone has their price.  People who like $750 (in goxbux) are bringing their bitcoins out of the woodwork.

What a shame that Gox is not relevant anymore. Real men are looking for ways to export money from China. There is a million dollar per day opportunity going on.

I just laugh if somebody brings fresh BTC to dump in Gox. No money out - just more whiplash Smiley

They sold simply to hope to buy back lower. Simple as that.

Surely some suckers will be left out.

question: why don't we open account on btcchina and make some arbitrage with bitstamp? 30% guaranteed..
am i missing some point?
You need a Chinese bank account and then you need someone help you to convert CNY back to USD.

No, you just get a Tenpay account.

And banking in China is actually very easy...one of the few joys...its funny how 'western' banks still screw clients with fees.  I used to bank with HSBC in HK...zero fees for anything, just happy to look after your money.

HSBC in general is basically the most fair bank I've ever worked with.

Unless you borrow, that is. http://www.justanswer.com/consumer-protection-law/2pkqy-want-sue-hsbc-unauthorized-overdraft-assessments.html
HSBC, yep, they are fair in that will do business with anyone.  US$670B in unmonitored money transfers and folks are worried about bitcoin?  Bitcoin is not even close to being a player in money laundering game.  These guys pay fines larger than all bitcoin and shrug it off.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-07-02/hsbc-judge-approves-1-9b-drug-money-laundering-accord.html
There's your whale.  If they didn't already have money laundering already well in hand and thought they could do better with bitcoin, they might be buyers, but they do better without it because BITCOINS GENERAL LEDGER IS ON THE FREAKING PUBLIC INTERNET.

Bitcoin is not accepted for domains.   I am sure it is something legal.   They do still accept it for certain upgrades.

Domains require a valid billing contact on file and verification (credit card or other payment that confirms ownership of payment method)

Hmm... don't think that is correct.  namecheap allowing registering domains with BTC payment.
