Can we not do this? Seriously guys, on one hand we bitch about how all Bitcoiners are male and then we objectify the women that ARE engaged with Bitcoin on the other.

+1 Manners please. Just remember, the chances that you'll be rich just went way up. Play it cool, guys.

I think a lot of guys on this thread don't get laid much.  This could well be the first real live woman they've seen for a while

Beware of the euphoria, guys.

I'm feeling it... this is better than any drug.

How much have you made this month?
This month?  How much have you made TODAY?
I just whipped out the calculator and spontaneously did a happy dance  Grin.
I know euphoria is usually prelude to a hangover feeling, but this feels awesome  Grin .

Paper profits. View them as such. If it drops to $100 tomorrow (without valid reason) I won't care.

I know, it can disappear in a blip. If the april crash is any indication, I won't give a shit until 1-2 weeks after the crash.  Then I hit myself on the head repeatedly for not selling   Smiley .

Is there no one left to predict an impending crash to single digits any more?

I guess we reached the tipping point, no single digits ever again unless BTC is going straight to 0.

I'm pretty sure I told you that even for double digits about 3 weeks ago.

The weird thing about the current "bubble", is that is going up so fast so soon.  Percentage-wise, if it is like previous "bubbles", we could still have quite a way to go, but the daily percentage gains are just off the chart, very reminiscent of a blow-off top.
Let's hope it's just an indication of the incredible demand, and there is a mega-bubble to come   Smiley.

I'm going to say anything below $500 is cheap coins. That's what people tomorrow will be thinking.

What I'd guess will happen is we'll zoom towards $1000, have some friction before that then burst up to $1250-1500 before settling above $1000

I'm worried about the increase in market cap. Before we were talking about adding hundreds of millions a day during the bubbles; now we're adding BILLIONS in implied value per day to the Bitcoin ecosystem. If a lot of people panic sell on the pop, there's no way there's that kind of money to back up the price. The correction may be brutal.

The only time I have ever been mad at myself was for selling (nicely above market prices). Not profiting from volatility doesn't phase me, but ending up with less Bitcoins does.

Market sentiment right there.

How many of us would see a crash to below 300 as a disaster and how many of us would feel like it's cheap coins?

My mother called a 650 sell at random last night.. today at cavirtex at 3pm-4pm it hit and had I banked on the whim I would've made 1.8 btc .. sell 6.7 at 630 ( 20 dollars before the cap ) and buying back at 520 ( 20 dollars above the final crash point. But fuck it.. could've just droped 10 bucks and bear trapped me .. too the moon fiat transfers are sent Cheesy

300 is cheap coins to me.. probably only  the newer blood getting scared could take us that low after we make it to 1600 by Sunday.

Excuse me people!
Can we please join forces and discredit this article written on ABC news website?
http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/bitcoins-virtual-currency-explained-idiot/story?id=20926230

It's the first result on google trends today. Everybody's reading it!
The writer is a total douche, the article is crap, he doesn't know the faintest idea of what he talks about or he maybe conveniently talks shit about bitcoin, misinforming.
If we politely write comments below the article dissing what he wrote and explaining all the positives that have been left aside, I think it would be a real contribution to the community.
Please, take 1 minute and leave a positive, polite and productive comment in favor of bitcoin!
Everybody will appreciate this. Quote this message in your replies here so everybody reads and helps

Chinese exchanges actually have decent interfaces with their banking system. They can move fiat over there almost as easily as BTC.
