Jbear and the Bcash crowd would be ok if they sought competitive differentiation.  That's what competitors do.

That's a 100% bogus argument since "Satoshi" in his own words mentions absolutely nothing about outsourcing scaling of Bitcoin to private corporation called Blockstream and using their permissioned ledger called Lightning Network that's an exact replica of the already existing banking system.  If you were actually honest and not a crooked shitlib/digital shitcoin scammer, you would likely classify LN as a hijacking of Bitcoin and not altering the block size, which Satoshi actually did talk about.

Which scaling method is better (both suck, all digital shitcoins are scams, and only physical metals are money) is irrelevant.  One method clearly adheres to the original project much more than the other.  As an impartial judge, it would be very difficult to claim LN is not a hijacking of Bitcoin.  Your only real course of action is to whine that Satoshi left the project for dead.  Have you ever considered it's abandoned because it's designed to centralize, inferior to physical metals, and not even possible to create a decentralized digital currency in the first place?

Can't build a bull out of digital shitcoin scams, but you can out of physical silver:

IMHO, you fellas should ease up on jbreher.
He is NOT R. Ver or craig W, clearly.
An engineer and/or scientist, no doubt.

I root for the proper btc, but the jury is still open on whether LN would behave when we stress it with 100s of millions if not billions of users.
BTW, personally, i like second layer solutions like LN more, but I am perfectly willing to listen to the opposite opinion.

Jbear and the Bcash crowd would be ok if they sought competitive differentiation.  That's what competitors do.  They say 'our product is different and better'.  They have logos / brands which are instantly visibly distinguishable.  They make their product stand on its own merits. Jbear doesn't do that.  He pretends that his coin is 'Satoshi's Vision'.  He pretends that it much closer to the 'original Bitcoin' than 'Segwit coin'.  He says things like:

One of the things that makes BSV good is that it is being incrementally returned to the original Bitcoin protocol.

Jbear is not seeking competitive differentiation.  He is seeking to pass his shitcoin off as the original Bitcoin.  And I have no tolerance for shills, frauds or charlatans.

I think this could precisely be the competitive differentiation you seek. There is no doubt that BTC has gone through some major and controversial changes. But BSV's insistence on calling their coin Bitcoin is misguided. It's confusing and hurts their own case more than BTC's.

O! be some other name:

By any other name would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call’d,

Number of #Bitcoin addresses holding more than 1000 $BTC 👀

via Imgflip Meme Generator

https://twitter.com/glassnode/status/1182674900496146432?s=21

Other two graphs I find very interesting, and also a little bit scary.

Fist one is the total amount of negative yielding debt: it’s down from the highs well above 16 trillions dollar, but still at an astounding 14 trillions.
Bear in mind that you can find negative yielding junk bonds: you have to pay to buy a junk bond=nonsense.

Second graph is the percentage of central bank assets expressed as a percentage of the gross domestic product (GDP) of the respective reference monetary areas.
It ranges from 120% (!!!) of the SNB (National Bank of Switzerland) to 102% of the Bank of Japan (BOJ), to almost 40% of the ECB (They have just resumed buying 20 Billions of Government Securities per month). Good last the FED with 18 %, which has just announced a 60 Billions per month T-Bills purchase program, trying to fix the short term repo mess they have created.

Any sophisticated Western country could build a nuclear weapon in less than a fortnight if it wanted to, including countries that have never had nukes.

Delivery systems would take a bit longer - but all have bombers / military cargo craft.

Nope, uranium enrichment is a large industrial undertaking and very time consuming.

200 Day MA & EMA bear cross confirmed for October 14th by MA & EMA forecasts.
The crossover price is currently forecasted at $8,710 (EMA) and $8,725 (MA).

Here is a close up of the strong resistance from these moving averages, starting to look similar to when the price rallied into the death cross last year:

Nah, Nuclear fuel is only enriched to 3.5-5% U-235.

A nuclear weapon requires at least 85%, normally 90% U-235.

Also, not all "sophisticated Western countr[ies]" have nuclear power plants.

Certainly 5-10 years back not one of these soi-disant sovereign nations had a single nuke that actually worked; outdated systems, rust, showmanship and lies were all that held the whole thing together.
Like the uasf, it was much more the threat of action that was the danger keeping the whole charade together than any action.
Maybe nowadays a few cities could get glassed, but if anyone claims they are certain about even that, they are wrong or lying.

oh I forgot to rant a bit how again until recently you could track the British subs on the open internet. again until that became public knowledge and they bought a whole lot more substandard crap from their mates, upping their game very very slightly.
the enemy is always thicker than one would hope for but also more of a buggery-bollocks. (intransigent/determined)
