Well, since day one 1234562345546536546754345% price increase, so you're wrong about that.
?

In a few weeks perma-bulls be like:

"haha bear trolls BTC price is still at $50! more than X500 since its inception!!! already going for $65 prepare for moonshot  Cool"

There is a very small chance we go below 180 this month.
And by that, I don't mean I encourage the price to drop that much Smiley

If we're going to venture into logics, what you got there is an ill-formed statement.  Children are not an (intentional) substitute for contraception, but a result of its absence.
If usefulness of toilet paper is not self-evident to you, I'm afraid our differences are too great to be settled by an interwebs debate.

Alright then, replace children with cigarettes - pretty sure they're used much more frequently than contraception in many parts of the world - doesn't make it more useful at all.

And saying that toilet paper's usefulness is self-evident is equal to saying "My dick is bigger than yours because I say so and it's so obvious I don't have to prove anything to you".
Wonder if that's ever worked to convince your opponent in a dispute.  Cool Surely they just take your word for it and don't laugh at all.

Btw, talk about toilet paper to someone in India and you'll see it may not be equally useful to everyone afterall.

The usefulness of cigarettes and contraception could be compared at some level.  Cigarettes are more useful to me right now, because I'm not in Africa & not planning to fuck there.  If you wanted me to invest in African contraception, I'd pass.  Because I'm not planning to fuck in Africa, hence the product is useless to me.
I'm also not buying shit drugs on lameass neckbeard scamsites, so I find Bitcoin equally useless.
I hope this clears things up.

It can go far below that. The main problem is that there are way more abusive turds out there than people with a genuine interest in Bitcoin succeeding. So if they can short Bitcoin to oblivion, why wouldn't they?

The main problem is bitcoin was meant to be a medium of exchange not some commodity with value (price) swings up and down 50-1000% per year.

So people should be buying it to embrace the technology not like going to the casino and hope they make a profit, because in fact there is no medium asset to back it up as a real currency.

What is it exactly, that drives the price down?

What about everyone who said more adoption will lead to a price increase. I guess that's not the way it is.

I like to think this quote is relevant: "the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent"

Yeah, market's been irrational for about 2 years.

I remember when bitcoin was $1.50 and i didnt know what the value was.

Today is at $260 and i still dont know what the value is.

Figure its somewhere between $.0025 and $1100.00

Fuck, not again!

Oh come on!  Bitcoin goes up for one reason only--to slam down from greater heights & keep things fun.
You wanna go back to the slow bleedout we had going for weeks?

Will get margin called at 235.

Should I deposit more BTC and risk losing them too, or just let it be and hope for the best?

Wall Street and the Federal Reserve is bringing down the market so that they can jump in with their hedge funds. This is the last time we will see BTC in the hundreds range.
