no one with college degree invest in bitcoin for following reason:

  • major hacking again! (first mt gox, now bitstamp, not to mention many other)
  • 51% attack vulnerabiliy still not fixed
  • still much easy to use credit card or paypal instead
  • price falling for over a year, and now lower than previous all time high from April 2013. wow.

  • bitcoin has never been hacked, third parties who deal with bitcoin have been hacked, this will never end bitcoin.
  • owning 51% of the current hashrate is pretty expensive....
    • not really, i scan qr codes all the time and push send, for paypal i have to login and push a few buttons
    • bitcoin can function as a form of payment at any price point

I heard bitcoin mentioned in cnbc and bloomberg tv many times this week. Good thing too.

When mainstream media is pumping, imo that usually means insiders are looking to get out. For example, Fox News didn't become all about bitcoin until it was over $950, and we all know what happened soon after.
it could also mean that the same insider's have taken their positions and now want to pump the price. It goes both ways.

I think now would be to speculate what happens when stamp comes back?  A massive dump?!

Fastest way out will likely be Bitcoin. Though possibly not. Near empty orderbooks, slim volume... It could go anywhere and not mean anything.

You’re in the top 0.16% richest people in the world by income.

Bitcoin can make you rich, but only a handful of Investors/early adopters. It is really easy (with education) to get a decent paid job.

It's not a bad start though. I expect searches peak at the peak of a rally, not the start.

True, but I would expect something sharper. After all this is something lagging

Bitcoin needs constant publicity. Out of sight is out of mind. Although, I'd prefer if it was a bit more impartial / researched than just 'moon', 'doom' or 'interwebs money'.

As an aside, I feel there is a real push to see $200.
