Surely there must be better way to liquidate BTC250k btc then on the market in a 2day period  Undecided

That's what was said when some fool dumped 30k @$300.  I.e. more than a hundred bucks above current price.

anyone else think this is just bitstamp dumping the market so they rebuy the stolen coins for cheap?

Stamp only lost 15k coins.  The present volume is unreal

I think that the 30k coin purchase was a staged event (someone bought his own coins) by some desperate people, trying to jump-start a trend reversal. Volume before and after this purchase didn't add up with people racing to the exchanges to get those "cheap coins" (like the 30k purchase tried to show).

This in the other hand looks real, and it's only the beginning.

I'm here just to see when LambTroll will vanish. Should be anytime now... Bye bye LambTroll. It's been fun! Grin

Going so soon? I wouldn't hear of it. Why my little party's just beginning.
Thought you were pretty foxy, didn't you? Well! The last to go will see the first three go before her! And your mangy little dog, too!

The only mangy dog I've seen in here for years... was... wait... you?  Grin

I'm frightened, Auntie Em! I'm frightened!
Dorothy? Dorothy? Where are you? It's me, Auntie Em! We're trying to find you! Where are you?
I'm here in Oz, Auntie Em! I'm locked in the witch's castle, and I'm trying to get home to you, Auntie Em!
  *Auntie Em's image fades out*
Oh, Auntie Em, don't go away! I'm frightened! Come back! Come back!

Frankly, all these alternative conspiracy-like explanations are just BS because this crash is 100% technicals.

So basically:  Technicals dictate what happens and especially WHEN it happens.
Shit happens.
And then we try to explain the mess with fancy stories.

Nah.

Roll Eyes   I liked you better when you actually tried to share your thoughts on technicals.  Maybe you can rewind the charts a week and then show us all where they said this would play out like it did?
"They"? What do you mean?

The charts and your technicals.

Mine was basic stuff. If that formation and the trend line were gonna break, I said it was gonna be a ridiculous big prolonged move.
Price structure builds in months and weeks, and then it has to decide.

Usually "manipulation" is for very quick short term moves, like the BTC-E instant flash crash we had to $300 (with quick recovery while all the other exchanges hardly moved), that was pure manipulation, but for a quick buck and short lived. These players don't control whole trends, that's not how the market works IMHO.

They have had their 'rapture'; the world is still here and so is Bitcoin.

Looking forward to smoked bear, grilled lamb chops and toasted troll in 2015.

Sorry.  I was trying to say that "on the market" is about the only way one can possibly get rid of 250K BTC.  Especially when the market is the way it is.
I think macsga still believes in shadowy cartels just dying to snap up some failing coin @ above market, just like "they did during the fabulous USMC auction."
