Wow.. I should have gone to sleep hours ago... 4 hours of freaking out and 25 pounds of stress eating, and it's back where it was...
Who am I kidding? Probably not sleeping for the next 24 hours.

Surely there must be better way to liquidate BTC250k btc then on the market in a 2day period That's what was said when some fool dumped 30k @$300. I.e. more than a hundred bucks above current price. I think that the 30k coin purchase was a staged event (someone bought his own coins) by some desperate people, trying to jump-start a trend reversal. Volume before and after this purchase didn't add up with people racing to the exchanges to get those "cheap coins" (like the 30k purchase tried to show). This in the other hand looks real, and it's only the beginning. Sorry. I was trying to say that "on the market" is about the only way one can possibly get rid of 250K BTC. Especially when the market is the way it is. I think macsga still believes in shadowy cartels just dying to snap up some failing coin @ above market, just like "they did during the fabulous USMC auction." Cultish behavior and conspiracy theories usually go hand in hand Cultist behaviour and conspiracy theories are for people who cannot understand the math. Come back when you manage to pass the 1st semester and we'll talk again... @Lamb: When you present a reasonable cause for your babbling pl0x, then you may get a proper answer. Until then troll away all you like.

Looks like BTC is 100% done for real Is it done? why? You cannot send Bitcoins to other people or what? Why it is done? Because it is cheaper now? Eh... People don't really understand Bitcoin. It is not really "done," but it's getting there. Because as amusing as "sending Bitcoin to other people" may be, the prank got old a few years ago & everybody's bored. @macsga: Hush now. Adults are talking.

Buy or die.
Have been. Admittedly my investment is under water as a whole (I never bought at under $45, too late in for that) but buying at these price has averaged down massively. I am happy, I believe capitulation has happened, bar some settling fluctuations, I personally think on balance the downtrend is over.

For the people lamenting how horrible the fall of the long term log trendline is, and how that's never happened before, here's a blast from the past (in two ways ): A multi-year long term trend line break. No, it never happened before. Bro, do you even fractals? Edit: Actually, that trendline of mine is multi year too. 2 years. Mtgox trend line: End of 2010 - end of 2011. --> 1 year. Stamp trend line: End 2011 - beginning of 2015 --> 3 years I wouldn't talk about fractals for long term trend line, when the actual lenght matters.

What is the point of buying now ? Some fuck ugly motherfucker will come with his stash of dirty coins sell 2k on stamp and we will be in the same position or lower. Because people that bought now will try to sell when everything will be going down and other people will say wtf another falling tree and they will sell too. And we will be not on $150 but on $100. Same repeat all the time.

You've all seen the bottom, but who managed to buy large quantities below $200?

Its been days for me. I feel like a zombie. I feel for you because that was me after the bubble that peaked around $28 (from memory). I've seen them come and go since but this time I haven't lost a wink of sleep, and haven't sold any. I'm probably going to buy more as long as I'm quick enough. This might be a bull-trap, but if it isn't I just hope the banks will process my transfer in a timely manner. It's a fucking disgrace that it takes them over 24 hours to approve an electronic funds transfer. Complain about Bitcoin transaction times all you like, it moves a shit-ton quicker than fiat.
