Ten days ago, Ben Lawsky was on Money Talking, New York Public Radio. He shares a positive outlook on Bitcoin and regulation, and says the BitLicense will arrive within days.

http://www.wnyc.org/story/theres-new-electronic-sheriff-coming-town/

+1. had a listen. posted it here.

this is 1 BIG news in 2015. Noticed how he said BitLicense would pretty much be a template Nationwide and possible other fglobal financial hubs? That is BIG

Yes, everyone is lining up to copy New York as businesses and people and tax revenues flee from there.

Big buy on Stamp  Shocked

I just looked and it was a 1324 BTC purchase all at once.  Wow!!!  All we need is a few more of those to get this rally going. Wink

For those who missed it (time zone UTC+1):

Definitely some big fish. Whether it was just a pump attempt or insider info, we'll see, but I guess I'm not leaving any asks up for the night.

this week looks super exciting

i guess changetip on facebook will go viral

this could be the start of the mass adoption phase

I think we will see just a short pump in the short term.

Other good Bitcoin news had no effect on price except sometimes a small pump

Good news has no effect in a bear market, but very positive effects in a bull market.

I wouldn't have thought they were any more reactive to news than bear markets. And bull markets are far more fleeting.

The only example I can think of was the senate hearings where it exploded as the vital sentences were uttered but that was potentially real make or break stuff.

Dunno but if you look at the two big green candles on Bitstamp below they seem to be from the same buyer.

If they decided to buy them on exchanges why would they wait until now rather than buy at ~150 to ~160?

Or maybe their bids just didn't get filled. It's not like it was at 150 for more than a few minutes.
