Unless buyers think the price is low now and might bounce to 240-260. In that case a small fee is not much. |

margin buy orders set all the way down to 175 hope to wake up and see a bunch of buys  pft not a single bite last night... well here goes another shot tonight...orders are still up come sell me coins bears  ( why trader gods why wheever i put a margin buy order it gets to within a dollar of it then bounces up... i guess i need to put in a few $10,000 coin margin orders orders are canceled gave up.. prepare for a rally |

indeed. The only that went from 0 to something in 6 years. Infinite valuation It is an interesting question whether bitcoins were ever actually "worthless". Satoshi put time and effort into the creation of the first coins there is no doubt about that. The people who first started sending them around put effort into mining them, CPU resources and IT technical expertise just knowing how to bootstrap the first clients, e.g. Hal Finney. For sure, they weren't worth very much at all but those first guys probably had a basic mental accounting and a kind of altruistic gift valuation when doing the first transactions ("hey send me a couple hundred coins and I'll put a good word in for you on the IRC, check your code, give you tip on the install, etc") ... asymptotically small perhaps but not a zero valuation. So no, no infinite percentage increase. |

Does changetip provides pay by PayPal or credit card ? Otherwise, don't think the Facebook user will bother open an exchange account or coinbase account just because they see some tips in BTC. EDIT: Just tried by myself. New users get $0.5 for free and then they have to either top up by BTC or have to register a coinbase account. Really wish them to provide a BTC purchasing service by themselves, otherwise I don't think that will attract many non-bitcoiners. |
