I don't think that wall is going to move

Why not?

It's a real wall that's going to have to be destroyed

That "wall" is only 3000BTC, it will be eaten within seconds if things start to move...

It does seem to be one of the most popular arguments for BTC on this forum. Discussion on the merits of altcoins vs BTC always solicit lots of reactions about the market cap, the investments etc. into BTC from the fanboys. Seldom do they refer to the technology itself.

The remaining 2,9 million left in the orderbook will die a lonely death if no fresh money comes in.

it doesn't mean that there aren't real marriages being ruined by bitcoin.

It brings to the fore aspects of a person that might otherwise have remained invisible. But is marriage maintained by the invisible to be celebrated?

Desperation brings out the worst in some.

A desperation not visited but arrived at.

No telling how bad off the permabulls would be in this war without General William Joseph Allen to guide them.

"Four punch raiders, incoming! Prepare the counterattack!"

I'm no general. More like Jeff Goldblum in Independence Day. I just found a pattern.

There's no way we can beat them in a head-on fight. They are far too powerful and smart. We have to front run them. That means do what they do before they do it and that means start making small buys unless you've already got some coin and then keep buying small until the chart levels out and then make BIG DAMN BUYS until the bears get margin calls.

and then SELL everything and then some. The best time to go short is immediately after a short squeeze just like the best time to go long is right after a long squeeze.

I'm thinking something like this... these play out all the time on every timescale. So, no sub $200.

It's amazing how the beartrolls take a break from their usual schadenfreude fest to show their tender emotional side in empathy for the wife of a bitcoin cultist who is steering them off the financial cliff.  This reddit post is held up as an example of the "typical bitcoin cultist" without considering that there are many people bullish about bitcoin who are not willing to go all in or double down with more buying than is prudent. Of course people are going to make bad investment decisions no matter what the asset is. Don't blame bitcoin for some people's bad decisions or relationships.

I think 5 or 6, but I would refer to bassclef since he is more knowledgeable

Bears simply don't have enough coins to take us to sub 200.  Now if this bitstamp issue is something bigger regarding deposits then it could possibly trigger panic, or people will simply move off the exchange.

nanobrain's sniping about people making her sick and ruining people's loves is small potatoes.

Too right, this IS a financial war on the facist forces that are seeking to enslave humanity to their broken fiat monetary system for their own power.

The current system is shovelling wealth and earnings out of the lower and middle classes to the very top of the pyramid at a rate never seen before in history. It is brazenly destructive and real people are getting hurt on a scale never seen before, hundreds of millions getting shafted to uselessly enrich a few at the top of the pyramid. We who now recognise this have a moral imperative to warn everybody and anybody who will listen just how fucked up and insidious the current evil system of power, war-mongering, never-ending debt and impoverishment due to centralised fiat money institutions, e.g. debt notes issued by the Federal Reserve.

If bitcoin is a possible tip of the spear to slaying the beast that has a strangle-hold on the economic freedom of humanity, we will use it. Wars are never pretty but no make no mistake this is what you are involved in ... got balls?

Attempts to label bitcoin supporters a cult is just lazy sloganeering revealing an ignorance of history of money and war cycles. Cults don't upend whole technological, financial and monetary orders.

... but the exchange's bank accounts are still required to comply with AML/KYC, if I understood correctly.  Only the BTC deposits and withdrawals are not required to comply.
