... Anyone else see the problem with the association the Europol has tried to establish between with CP on fears it is "anonymous"? ( Kind of like NLC does.. Coincidence?)
No. 1. It didn't help Ross Ulbrict. Why was he so easy to nab but child porn lovers (who should be a much higher priority than online banned plant bazars) are so goddamned highly skilled and elusive?
Because you pedophiles are wilyer, and Ross was just laughably bad at what he did. 2. Evil people flock towards and love money...who doesn't? So when has this ever changed? Was the Drachma of Alexandria responsible for the buggering Pederasty of boys in ancient Greece? True, Greece did popularize both pederasty and homosexuality, but that was a long time ago, let bygones be bygones. They're nothing more than a bunch of deadbeats now--no threat to young children in developed countries. And what does Greece have to do with Bitcoin's half-ass anonymity & lack of strict government regulations making you crave underage D? It's your lack of moral fiber, not some ancient history, that's responsible for ruining innocent young lives. Pervert

I had a random question that might be slightly off topic... So typically I've noticed and have been able to follow the pattern of changing strength between btc/usd, btc/ltc, and ltc/usd. I noticed that LTC is now ranked last on the chart for bitcoinwisdom and was wondering if anyone knew why that was. Additionally I was wondering if anyone has noticed btc-e delaying coin transaction withdrawals to competitor exchanges (cryptsy). It took around 12 hours for a withdrawal to confirm on the ltc block chain and show up at another exchange. I was wondering if this was purposefully done to attempt to limit the ability to arbitrage? I thought I remember reading that this was the case but couldn't remember and just wanted another opinion. Usually when we see drops in ltc/btc, we are priming for moon... lol... any day now ^_^

But, but... no adoption! Failed technology! No real demand! Beanie babies!
Let's invest in BTCeanie BTCabies BTCitcoins based on misleading headlines! Yay! http://www.coindesk.com/boston-fed-bullish-bitcoin/
“We’ve heard stories of how bitcoin can help users avoid fees when sending funds to family abroad, or how bitcoin makes it easier to pay a friend back without using cash, although, but with services like Venmo, the advantage of bitcoin in this space is limited,” the researchers said.
“A currency would ideally have a stable value and be accepted as payment nearly universally, yet bitcoin has a ways to go in this sense,” they said."
"They went on to suggest that bitcoin, even if unlikely to succeed, will prove "valuable in stimulating innovations"."
"While Lo and Wang regard bitcoin to be a valuable experiment, they echoed many of their original findings, suggesting they still believe bitcoin's distributed mining network to be inefficient and, as a result, a factor that likely holds bitcoin back in the long term."
"The potential risk of such concentration of processing power is that the system is vulnerable to possible collusion and manipulation,"
"distributed payment networks such as Ripple, those that are agnostic to any one currency and therefore less subject to the rise and fall in value of any currency on the network."
"However, the future they see is still one where a number of protocols comprise the payment system, and that the "lasting legacy" of bitcoin is in how payments can use protocols to better facilitate payments and transfers.
They talk about protocols to move fiat currencies around, not a proof-of-work network for irreversible, volatile, slow, non scalable, wasteful, pyramid scheme shitcoins

Me? Insecure about craving the D? Sometimes, the past comes back to bite you on the ass. Like that time 5 years ago when you didn't fire up that bitcoin program and mine some bitcoins on your laptop. Or buy them at $2 after everyone who wasn't half brain dead zombie found out about it? Or admitting to craving the "young D" on a forum?

haha I bet they are debating accepting bitcoin for tax payments. Imagine, "thanks for the payment, by the way we now reviewed your account history you didn't mention these.... " transactions, holdings, etc. etc. Busted! some poor fools will fall for it im sure.

Sweet. Looks like the trolls are out in full force again today. I mean, I get what their general strategy is here, but didn't they learn anything from 2011/2012? Forum looked like a minefield then as well (that's my impression by going back to the old pages... wasn't actually a member then), but ultimately, forum impact is limited, and once the ball starts rolling, no amount of bearish spamming here helps against it.* * Same for the bull spam of course: once a correction is underway, no amount of their starry eyed projections will matter much.

This shit again? Seriously? The "beartrolls" were right since the beginning, bitcoin was a bubble, a pump&dump. How high it actually pumped is irrelevant. It pumped&dumped a few times (in 2011 and two times in 2013, and maybe the second one wasn't even supposed to happen because mtgox bots and china that pumped and got the fuck out at the speed of light) and went as high as it could before bursting. That's what bubbles do, they pump, then people bail en masse Whether the "beartrolls" bought bitcoin at single/double digits themselves and dumped on you gullible r/bitcoiners or not, it doesn't matter, they were right since the beginning Only bitcoiners scream "but my bubble pumped" as an argument whatsoever Sure they pump, they are bubbles But sure, continue thinking that pumping at $2 to reach $32 and beyond is the same as pumping at $250 to reach $1200 and beyond Disappointing

For god's sake, silverfuture. Here we are. You got me into your house. You give me a drink. You... put on music. Now you start opening up your personal life to me and tell me your husband won't be home for hours. silverfuture, you're trying to seduce me Dirty LIttle Secret Lyrics from Versions (Rmxs) "Dirty LIttle Secret" is track #17 on the album Versions (Rmxs). It was written by Mclachlan, Sarah Ann. If I had the chance Love, I would not hesitate To tell you all the things I never said before Don't tell me it's too late 'Cause I've relied on my illusions To keep me warm at night But I denied in my capacity to love I am willing to give up this fight I've been up all night drinking To drown my sorrow down Nothing seems to help me since you went away I'm so tired of this town Where every tongue is wagging When every back is turned They're telling secrets that should never be revealed There's nothing to be gained from this but disaster Here's a good one Did you hear about my friend? He's embarrassed to be seen now Because we, oh no, be seen If I had the chance Love, you know I would not hesitate To tell you all the things I never said before Don't tell me it's too late 'Cause I've relied on my illusions To keep me warm at night But I denied in my capacity to love I am willing to give up this fight Oh, I am willing to give up this fight Songwriters MCLACHLAN, SARAH ANN
